General Announcements

Today is your last chance to take care of your fines in the Bookkeeping & Library offices. If you don’t take care of it TODAY your 2nd semester schedule will be pulled and you will not receive it until you resolve all your holds.

DON'T FORGET!! DECA Students who are signed up to go to Districts need to turn in all money and permission slips by today in order to hold your spot!

The cafeteria will be serving a Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings tomorrow, November 16th, during both lunches for $4. Please come by and enjoy a great meal.

The senior fund raising committee meeting for the senior class gift is tomorrow, November 16th at 2:20 in room C1.

Attention Students: You will be receiving your 2nd Semester Schedules on Friday, November 17th during your third hour class. Schedule Adjustments can be made by appointment only with your counselor. The Schedule Adjustment Period will run from Wednesday, December 6th through Thursday, December 14th. Changes will be made for the following reasons ONLY:
  • Academic misplacement

  • Over or under required hours

  • Changes in Elective courses on a space available basis

Hey all you Broncos Fans, it is time to Play Deal or No Deal. Muse is hosting a contest during both first and second lunch today and tomorrow to win tickets to this Sunday’s game against the San Diego Chargers. The grand prize is four Broncos tickets and parking pass. The Muse booth is located by the guidance center.

Hey Muse staff, we have a meeting today after school to talk about big, important stuff! Don’t forget! That’s Muse meeting, today after school in room C16.

Seniors: Are you searching for scholarships? The Hispanic Annual Salute scholarship application is available in the Post Grad Center and also online. Begin your application today. Application deadline date is December 6, 2006. Scholarship award is $2000.00.

Come to the cafeteria tomorrow night for an incredible evening of jazz! The concert starts at 7pm and features Jazz II, The Dry Creek Dixie Dawgs, and Jazz I. You’ll hear Glenn Miller’s “In the Mood,” Pat Matheney’s “But Beautiful,” and Louis Armstrong’s famous “West End Blues,” among others. It’s free, and complimentary dessert will be served throughout the evening.

Hey Community Service Just ‘Cause members. There is a meeting tomorrow right after school in room C19. The bake sale to raise money for December’s activities is this Saturday and we’re going to need help. See you at the meeting!

Hey all seniors! This year we have the special privilege to travel to the Wind River Reservation and bond with the Arapaho tribe through the act of giving. If you want to be involved with the planning of this trip, join us in room C1 at 2:30 today after school. Don’t miss out on this unique senior class gift!

Attention all Warriors! Amnesty International will be hosting a community forum on worldwide hunger in the AHS cafeteria next Monday, November 20th, at 6:30 pm. Tickets will be on pre-sale during both lunches all week for $5. Tickets include a bowl of soup and a night of fun!

ATTENTION STUDENTS FOR A VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING A SCHEDULE CHANGE. DUE TO THE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY WE WILL BE HAVING THURSDAY’S CLASSES ON TUESDAY.

Athletics

All PE swim classes for Thursday and Friday, must dress in PE clothes, and not their swim gear.
