General Announcements


Students: Order your official Arapahoe Class Ring at special ordering sessions on, Wednesday and Thursday, Sept 5th & 6th, during lunch in the cafeteria. Ordering Information packets will be available in the main office. Don’t miss it!

We regret to announce that the Homecoming Talent Show will not be held this year because of problems with stage lighting in the theater. We encourage all of you talented AHS students to try out for the Prom Talent Show to be held this spring. Thank you, the Class of 2009.

Hey Habitat for Humanity members! Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, September 5th in room C-18. New members, come for an introduction to what Habitat is all about. Veterans, this meeting is a must if you are interested in a leadership position.

Hey you Pride Tribers! Get out there and support your fellow Warriors this weekend! Today at 4:00, head on over to deKoevand Park to cheer on our Cross Country team. Tomorrow, be here at AHS to support the Freshman Football team at 9:00 am and stay for the JV Football team at 11:00. It’s a great weekend to be a WARRIOR!

The Video Yearbook DVDs will be handed out at lunch TODAY. Stop by and pick one up!

Athletics

The boy’s JV 2 tennis team destroyed Castleview yesterday by a score of 11-2. Come out next Tuesday to support your Warrior Tennis Teams…Varsity will play at Littleton, JV will play here at Arapahoe.

Congratulations to the Freshmen Black Volleyball team for their victory over Cherry Creek.



Our very own Jasmine Oeinck has just taken 2nd place in the ITU World Cup Championship Triathlon in Hamburg, Germany. She was one of over 35 competitors from around the world who competed in the event. She finished with a time of 2hrs 2min 14seconds, one step closer to the Olympics in China 2008.
