General Announcements

Attention freshmen! We are having a class meeting tomorrow, Wednesday morning at 6:50 in room C12. All freshmen are welcome to attend.

ATTENTION STUDENTS if you ordered student pictures you will be able to pick them up in the cafeteria after school tomorrow, Wednesday, October 3rd and then again during both lunches on Thursday, October 4th.

Freshmen students who are interested in participating in the Rocky Mountain Talent Search should see Mrs. Lobser in the Enrichment Room for details.

Attention all Amnesty members, we will meet on today in Room C-5. Please bring $10 for your t-shirts and any contact information about bands for Jamnesty.

Attention Dodgeball Teams. Friday, Oct. 5th is the last day to turn in a completed registration packet. But remember, First come, First serve. We only have a few spots left. Completed packets can be turned into the Business Office.

If you know the five D's of dodgeball: "Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive, and Dodge" then you would make a great announcer for the 2007 AHS DECA Dodgeball Tournament. We will be holding announcer tryouts on Thursday, Oct. 4th at 2:30 pm in room S1. So "take a break from that fine lead-based paint" and come try out to be an announcer for one of this year's most exciting events

Do you love pizza? Do you love pizza on Saturdays? The Speech and Debate Club is happy to provide an opportunity for you to eat CiCi’s pizza AND help a worthy organization. If you buy a pizza at CiCi’s this Saturday, October 6, and tell them you are supporting the Arapahoe Speech and Debate team, a portion of the proceeds will go the club. Thanks for supporting the SPEECHIES in your area!

Hey Arapahoe. Key Club invites you to come on down to the Carnival at Ames Elementary, 7300 S. Clermont Dr., this Saturday, October 6th. Meet there at 12:30 to get your assignment to help some kids.

Reminder of college visits happening today in the Post Grad Center: Seattle University is now, at 9:30 Whittier College at 10, Wyoming Tech at 10:30.

Athletics

Congratulations to the girls Varsity softball team on their victory over Heritage last night. The Lady Warriors won by a score of 11 to 1. This is the third year in a row the team has won the City Championship by defeating both Littleton and Heritage. Great Job Ladies!

Student Initiated Groups-

Attention skiers and snowboarders. There is a new club here at Arapahoe just for you! Come to the first meeting on Wednesday, October 3rd in the Forum. We will be planning the upcoming ski season and watching ski videos. That’s Wednesday, Oct 3rd in the Forum

Four Square Club meets today, 2:30 in room N2.
