General Announcements
Congratulations to the Winter Percussion Ensemble for continuing their winning ways by placing first with a season high 84.7 points at Saturday's Pomona Competition!

Congratulations to the Winter Guard for placing second with a score of 70.3 points at Saturday's Legacy Competition!

Congratulations to Jazz I and The Dry Creek Dixie Dawgs for achieving unanimous superior ratings at Friday's Mile High Jazz Festival! Also, congratulations to Jazz II for achieving excellent ratings at the jazz festival. Congrats to the following musicians for being awarded outstanding musicianship certificates at the festival: Madison Munn (2 Awards), George Darling, Spencer Jonscher, Maureen Kosse, Ian Rictor, Erik Lundgren, Phil Strom, Zach White, KeKe Kosse, Alex James, Melanie Brown (2 Awards), Nicole Jensen, Eddie Lyon, Kevin Matthews (2 Awards), Wes Leffingwell (2 Awards), Dave Ellis (2 Awards), Matt Darling, Matt Cullen, Billy Norris, and Riley Sinn. "Attention all TSA members planning to attend the TSA State conference: There will be a Mandatory meeting next Wednesday March 12 after school in room E10. All paperwork and money for the conference is due at this meeting. NO EXCEPTIONS. This is a must attend meeting if you want to go to the state conference. Money & paperwork may be turned in prior to the meeting. See Mr. McMullen if you need a copy of the paperwork and/or more information."

Athletics
Come out this afternoon and cheer on the Varsity baseball team as they play Cherokee Trail at 4 pm here at Arapahoe. The festivities begin at 3 pm with pregame music, trivia and free food. Go Warriors!

The Men’s Swimming and Diving Team had a great dual meet against Douglas County on Thursday and the Arapahoe Relays Meet on Saturday. The team won the meet against Douglas County and the Varsity Black Team placed third at the Arapahoe Relays. Event winners from Arapahoe included seniors Nik Thomas, Ian Francis, Jeff Nadel, Dave Wise and sophomore Andrew Gibbs. Additionally, Ian Francis qualified for state in the 100 breaststroke along with the 400 Freestyle Relay of Dave Wise, Jeff Nadel, Nik Thomas, and Andrew Gibbs. Great swimming guys!

Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Lacrosse Team. They defeated Heritage 9 to 6 on Friday at the season opener. Join them against Littleton HS on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

Hey Warriors--it's time for spring sports. Varsity Girls Lacrosse kicks off their season in a big way with 4 games this week. Their first game is tomorrow--Tuesday March 11 at 4:00 at Newton when they take on Regis. The rest of their weekly schedule is Wednesday 4:00 at Newton versus Air Academy. Then Thursday they play Chapparral at 4:15 at Chapparal. Their last game of the week is Saturday at 2:00 at Newton against Ralston Valley. Please come out and support the team in what promises to be a big season for the team. Go Warriors!!
