General Announcements
Attention all Freshmen and Sophomores: CSAP testing begins Monday, March 10, at 7:21a.m. Please check in the cafeteria or the trophy hallway for your room assignment. If you have any questions about your room assignment, please see Mr. Campbell in the Guidance Office or Ms. Scoglio in the Attendance Office. We would like to encourage you to bring something to read. You are not permitted to work on anything else. Electronic devices are not permitted and proctors have been instructed to take them. We would also like to remind you that Saturday night we “spring ahead” with Daylight Savings Time, so please remember to set your clock one hour ahead. The Arapahoe faculty would like to thank you in advance for your very best effort on this important test.
There is a late start on March 10-13th for all upperclassmen. Juniors and Seniors may not arrive to the building before 11:00a.m.
Seniors: If you ordered graduation announcements, you can pick up your order in the cafeteria this Thursday, March 6 in the cafeteria during lunches.
You’ve been waiting all week for it . . . The one and only . . . Winter Concert of the choirs and the orchestra. Tonight at 7:00 pm in the Arapahoe Theatre. Some of our most talented student musicians will be featured and it’s free!
Congratulations to the Wind Ensemble for receiving a Superior rating at yesterday's State Qualifying Concert Band Festival! Also, congratulations to Symphonic Band and Concert Band for achieving Excellent Ratings at yesterday's State Qualifying!!
"Attention all TSA members planning to attend the TSA State conference: There will be a Mandatory meeting next Wednesday March 12 after school in room E10. All paperwork and money for the conference is due at this meeting. NO EXCEPTIONS. This is a must attend meeting if you want to go to the state conference. Money & paperwork may be turned in prior to the meeting. See Mr. McMullen if you need a copy of the paperwork and/or more information."
Attention Model United Nations members. The last conference of the year will be held at Fort Collins High School on April 12th. Country requests must be submitted by Thursday March 6th. The topic for beginners is “the link between human trafficking and threats to national sovereignty and international security”. The topic for returning members is “Planning for Regional Stability in the Balkans and Southeast Asia”. If you have thought about joining Model UN there is still time! Join us for our last conference of the year! Please see Ms. DiSepio or Ms. Hurt by Thursday.
Athletics
The girl’s varsity tennis team defeated ThunderRidge last night by a score of 7-0. Congratulations girls on a great win and thank you for braving the “less than ideal” conditions.
All Special Olympic basketball players and partners need to turn in your uniforms to S-6 by the end of this week.
