please aware that during the four days of finals the library will be a QUIET
STUDY AREA only. If you do need to have group discussions for an
assignment please do it in the cafeteria. Thanks for your cooperation and Happy

As you
know from Mr. Miles’ announcement on Tuesday, The
Muse does not currently have enough student writing to create a
magazine. You don’t have to write something new for this: anything you’ve
written since you’ve been in high school is good material, and it might even be
something you’ve handed in for an assignment. The Muse is extending its deadline to the very
end of the semester, so help us to represent everyone in the school; we can't
do it if you don't send us your work. Just go to the Muse webpage under “Activities” on the home
page, and scroll down for directions on how to submit.
Athletics
Congratulations to the Lady Warriors Freshman
Girls basketball team. They picked up a good road win last night against
Grandview High School. The team put in great effort as everyone
contributed to the win. Keep up the great work Ladies!
Don't miss the Heritage Hockey varsity game this Saturday night, Dec. 15, at South Suburban Ice Arena at 8:30 p.m. This is the team for all LPS hockey players, so please come support the team.
Calling
all girl tennis players! Any girls
wanting to try out for the tennis team this spring must
attend a meeting on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 6:30 in the AHS Forum. Check the tennis website at

Hey all Certified Lifeguards!! Are you
interested in Lifeguarding during the school day for credit? Lifeguarding swim
classes at Arapahoe. Come to a meeting on Tuesday, Dec 18th right after finals
at 12:15 in the Forum. Bring your 2nd semester schedule. Most questions will be
answered then. See Mrs. Leyden if you cannot attend.
