The toy
delivery to Colfax Elementary will be Wednesday Dec. 19 right after final
exams. If you turned in a signed permission slip to go on the bus, please
meet in the circle drive between 12 and 12:15 in your festive attire
Students
please be aware that during the four days of finals the library will be a QUIET
STUDY AREA only. If you do need to have group discussions for an
assignment please do it in the cafeteria. Thanks for your cooperation and Happy
Holidays.

Morning Warriors! During this week Tuesday through Friday the
cafe will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:15 daily, stop by and fuel up each
morning, we look forward to seeing you. Also
Warriors, all cafe charges must be paid this week and no additional negative
charges will be allowed, thank you for understanding and have a great week!
If you have been a member of National Honor
Society all semester, remember that service logs are due before the end of the
semester. Please just drop off your completed service log at Mr. Smith's
desk in the science office, sometime before the end of the semester.

Athletics
Congratulations to the Girls' Freshmen
Basketball team. They picked up their 4th league win with a victory over
Cherokee Trail High School by a score of 49-26. Everyone had solid
contributions. The girls are playing great! Keep it up Lady
Warriors.
Need a break from "Finals"
preparation? Here is a great opportunity! Come to AHS tomorrow night at 6:00 p.m.
to support your Lady Warrior Varsity Basketball team, currently ranked 2nd in
the state in 5A, as they take on Broomfield, currently ranked 1st in the state
in 4A. This promises to be an exciting game. Remember the tipoff is at 6:00 p.m. See you there!
Senior swimmer Emily Mayo won the Hoyt Brawner Award
on Saturday at the Colorado Coaches Invitational in Thornton. The honor
is awarded to one senior in the state who best exemplifies citizenship,
academics, and athletic achievements. She was chosen by a committee over six
other seniors. Congratulations to Emily.
Calling
all girl tennis players! Any girls
wanting to try out for the tennis team this spring must
attend a meeting on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 6:30 in the AHS Forum. Check the tennis website at

Hey all Certified Lifeguards!! Are you
interested in Lifeguarding during the school day for credit? Lifeguarding swim classes
at Arapahoe. Come to a meeting on Tuesday, Dec 18th right after finals at 12:15
in the Forum. Bring your 2nd semester schedule. Most questions will be answered
then. See Mrs. Leyden if you cannot attend.
