Hey Warriors!!! Awesome job this week with costumes and attendance at all the amazing events we held! Tonight is the carnival from 5-8! Come have a fun time with your friends and enjoy all the booths we have set up! See you there!

Free Alive @ 25 class Tuesday March 21st at 2:30pm in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class, the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee.  If you are 15 1/2 you can get a drivers permit after taking the class and a lot of insurance companies give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line. Any questions ask Deputy Englert

FBLA Volleyball Tournament packets are now available in the business department! Gather 8-10 friends and stop by to pick up a packet. The tournament will be held on Monday,April 10th starting at 6 pm in the main and auxiliary gyms.

Mr. Arapahoe, today is the deadline to turn in your application to the Activities office, Good Luck Senior guys!

Are you a poet?, then enter the Columbia Granger’s World of Poetry 2017 High School Student Poetry. Find your poetic inspiration at the Grangers World of Poetry database, and then write your poem in 30 lines or less.  The online submission deadline is April 10th, 2017. See your Language Arts teacher or go to the library for further information including rules and detail.

ATTENTION ALL ARAPAHOE ARTISTS Art Attack is Back!-The 13th Annual Art Attack is underway and the art department is now collecting pieces for the show.  If you are interested in entering please swing by the art office and pick up your entry forms.  We will be collecting art work now through Friday, March 24th so don’t wait.  For more information or answers to any questions please see Mrs. Hawthorne, Ms. Davidson, Ms. King, or Ms. Mishoe.

 Next week, the Post Grad Center will host West Point, the University of Minnesota Morris, Humboldt State, the University of Nebraska Lincoln, the American University at Rome, and the United States Air Force Academy.  Please log in to Naviance for details and to sign up.

Seniors, Juniors and anyone else 16 and older, listen up! Bet you didn't know that on your sixteenth birthday you can Pre-Register to vote, and the Colorado Democracy Challenge is here to help you out. We'll be in the cafeteria and social studies classes from 3/20-3/22 to provide information and the opportunity to register. MAKE SURE TO BRING YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE OR PERMIT – YOU NEED IT TO REGISTER. If you do not have a State ID, you can register with the last four of your social security number."

Have Spring Fever Yet?! If not, you will on Saturday! a PERFECT day for a cup of frozen yogurt and a car wash! Come out and support your AHS Girl’s Lacrosse Team as they work to raise funds to defray the cost of their Spring Break  trip to California to battle some of the state's top lacrosse programs.
Drop your car at the Raceway Lube Plus at 7600 S. University (on the east side of University) and then walk on over to Yogurt land for a cup of refreshing frozen yogurt.
Pick up a flyer at either Yogurt land or Raceway Lube Plus and let them know you’re there to support your Warriors!

JV Boys Lacrosse 1st game of the season!
Today, 4:30 at Powell  Middle School Field where they will play Mountain Vista

Please cheer on the Arapahoe boys’ varsity lacrosse team this afternoon at 4 PM as they battle Mountain Vista at Shea Stadium. It is a blackout game.

For Wednesday, March 22: Please cheer on the Arapahoe boys’ varsity lacrosse team this evening at 7 PM as they take on the Cherry Creek at Stutler Bowl Stadium at Cherry Creek.

Tryouts for the 2017-18 TOMS dance teams are coming up right after spring break!  Anyone planning on trying out will need to attend the mandatory parent information meeting being held next Wednesday, at 7
pm in the AHS Forum. Tryout details and registration information  can be found on the TOMS website.
