General Announcements

The weather outside is frightful, and for some it's not delightful,
but since your hearts are so warm, donate coats, donate coats, donate coats!
After spring break on April 3rd, we're going to kick off the coat drive for the Wind River trip. Help out some kiddos in need of some warmth and bring in coats that are in good condition. Bring them to school and drop them in the donation boxes throughout the building! Every coat counts!

The date of the FBLA Volleyball Tournament has been changed to Monday, April 24th.  For those who still have a packet, there are only a few spots remaining.  Packets are still available in the Business Department.  If you have submitted a packet and any team member has an issue with the date change, please see Mr. Sawyer in the Business Department.

Are you a poet?, then enter the Columbia Granger’s World of Poetry 2017 High School Student Poetry. Find your poetic inspiration at the Grangers World of Poetry database, and then write your poem in 30 lines or less.  The online submission deadline is April 10th, 2017. See your Language Arts teacher or go to the library for further information including rules and detail.

Seniors, juniors and anyone else 16 and older, listen up! Bet you didn't know that on your sixteenth birthday you can PRE-Register to vote, and the Colorado Democracy Challenge is here to help you out. We'll be in the cafeteria and social studies classes today, tomorrow and Wednesday to provide information and the opportunity to register. MAKE SURE TO BRING YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE OR PERMIT – YOU NEED IT TO REGISTER. If you do not have a State ID, you can register with the last four of your social security number."
