I'm seeing a lot of Wacky Wizards around Arapahoe today. Good work, Warriors!! Come
cheer your teachers and friends on tonight at the seniors v. Staff basketball game from 7-9 in the main gym!  Also dress up tomorrow as your twin for Weasley Day! Let’s see how many matching pairs we can spot tomorrow! Let’s welcome, our Student Body President, Matthew Parone, to lead us in the Miracle Minute.

Free Alive @ 25 class Tuesday March 21st at 2:30pm in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class, the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee.  If you are 15 1/2 you can get a drivers permit after taking the class and a lot of insurance companies give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line. Any questions ask Deputy Englert

It's time again for the annual Arapahoe High School FBLA Volleyball Tournament! The coed tournament has been changed to Monday, April 10th starting at 6 pm. The tournament has a superhero theme this year, so get 8 to 10 of your friends together and pick up a registration packet. Packets will be available this Thursday in the Business Department. Hurry!! Packets will be going fast!
Mr. Arapahoe reminder: applications are due to the activity office by this Friday- have you turned yours in yet?

Are you a poet?, then enter the Columbia Granger’s World of Poetry 2017 High School Student Poetry. Find your poetic inspiration at the Grangers World of Poetry database, and then write your poem in 30 lines or less.  The online submission deadline is April 10th. See your Language Arts teacher or go to the library for further information including rules and detail.

Hey Link Crew Applicants! If you still want to apply to be a Link Leader, you can! Applications are still available on Mrs. Moritz’s desk in the English office. Applications are due this Friday, March 17th no later than 2:30 pm.  

ATTENTION ALL ARAPAHOE ARTISTS Art Attack is Back!-The 13th Annual Art Attack is underway and the art department is now collecting pieces for the show.  If you are interested in entering please swing by the art office and pick up your entry forms.  We will be collecting art work now through Friday, March 24th so don’t wait.  For more information or answers to any questions please see Mrs. Hawthorne, Ms. Davidson, Ms. King, or Ms. Mishoe.

Attention all FBLA Members.  There is an important meeting today after school in room E1287.  Signup to be part of the carnival this Friday, the FBLA Volleyball Tournament or pick up a packet early to participate in the Volleyball Tournament. 




Athletics

Tryouts for the 2017-18 TOMS dance teams are coming up right after spring break!  Anyone planning on trying out will need to attend the mandatory parent information meeting being held next Wednesday, at 7 pm in the AHS Forum. Tryout details and registration information can be found on the TOMS website.

AHS girls golf finished 3rd in the first Centennial League Tournament yesterday, congratulations ladies!

Come out and support your ABK this week as they hold their 27th annual Warrior Invitational.  The Varsity team opens tonight at LPS stadium at 7:30 versus Littleton.   The JV squad plays their first Invitational game today at AHS at 3:30 also against Littleton.  Please come out and cheer on the Warriors!
