General Announcements

Warrior Week is just around the corner! We have a lot of new things planned. This year we have teamed up with Make-A-Wish Colorado to sponsor Jordon. Jordon is an 11-year old boy living with Medulloblastoma, a cancerous brain tumor, and his dream is to experience the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We are going to make this dream a reality! Join us in reaching our goal of $15,000. Let’s make magic happen!  Listen for more details coming soon!

Attention seniors: The yearbook staff has posted your senior portraits and biographies in the art hallway next to the journalism room E-1288. Please stop by to check your photo and bio for accuracy.

Are you a senior guy who is talented, charismatic, and looking to be the next Mr. Arapahoe? Applications and more information are now online and hard copies will be available in the Activities Office. The applications are due on March 17th, but, candidates will have until the event on May 2nd to get truly pageant ready. The winner will receive two free prom tickets, a trophy to be displayed in the trophy hall, and of course the title of Mr. Arapahoe.

This week, the Post Grad Center will host Mizzou  and Texas Tech.  Please log in to Naviance for details and to sign up.

Way to go Arapahoe Winter Guard on your excellent performance at Monarch HS this past Saturday!  They placed 2nd place and scored 76.73 points...only .76 points out of 1st!  Come cheer the team on this upcoming Saturday for their Regional competition at Dakota Ridge HS.  Their prelims performance is at 11:48 AM and finals begin at 5:30 PM.

Congratulations to the Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble for two amazing performances this past Friday at the Colorado Bandmasters Association Concert Band Metro Regional!!!  Symphonic Band earned straight "excellent" ratings for an overall  EXCELLENT rating and Wind Ensemble earned two "superior" ratings and an "excellent" rating for an overall SUPERIOR rating at the festival.  Congratulations Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble!!!
