General Announcements

Attention freshmen! Hearing and Vision testing is this week!  Testing will take place during your English class. Please be sure to wear and/or bring your glasses or contacts to school.

Attention All FBLA Members who will be attending the State Conference.  There will be a meeting today after school in room E1287.  if you are unable to attend the meeting, please see Mr. Sawyer or Mrs. Swank in the Business Department.

Thinking about getting a summer job?  Several employers are already looking to hire you!  Come see the new job postings on the AHS job board outside the Business Department for more information.  

Are you a senior guy who is talented, charismatic, and looking to be the next Mr. Arapahoe? Applications and more information are now online and hard copies will be available in the Activities Office. The applications will be due on March 17th, but candidates will have until the event on May 2nd to get truly pageant ready. The winner will receive two free prom tickets, a trophy to be displayed in the trophy hall, and of course the title of Mr. Arapahoe.

Attention Seniors! Stop by the Cafeteria from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Thursday, March 2nd. Herff Jones will be here to deliver your graduation announcements and other items you may have ordered

The 13th Annual Art Attack is now underway and the art department is collecting pieces for the show.  If you are interested in entering please swing by the art office and pick up your entry forms.  We will be collecting art work now through Friday, March 24th so don’t wait.  For more information or answers to any questions please see Mrs. Hawthorne, Ms. Davidson, Ms. King, or Ms. Mishoe.


Athletics

Calling all Warriors! After the Arapahoe Boys Basketball team took down Pine Creek, they traveled to Doherty and beat the #5-ranked Spartans. Whose next, you ask? Come out to Fort Collins High School Wednesday night at 6:30 pm as the Warriors take on the #9-ranked Lambkins in a Sweet 16 match up. Come on, Warriors!
