General Announcements 

Warriors—you looked awesome in your homecoming gear last week. Now that we’re back to normal, please continue to be mindful of our school dress code. Clothing items that are not allowed include: pajama pants, hoods, spikes, and clothing that is revealing. Per school policy, if you are out of dress code, you may be subject to additional action taken.

Winner winner!! The winner of this years team Homecoming float award at the parade goes to (drumroll pleaseeee....) the Boys Swim and Dive Team!! The winner of the class float goes to the Senior class. Great job to all of our entries! Thanks for making our parade a fun and community-minded event!

Attention All Junior and Seniors: The 2019 trip to Washington DC is here again! This trip is an amazing opportunity to experience Washington DC and Capitol Hill first hand. If you are interested in learning more, please come to a student interest meeting on Tuesday September 25th at 7:55 am in room C1436. Bring a friend and talk to Mrs. Winn in the Social Studies department if you have any questions!

Question... when is the next Key Club meeting? Answer... next Monday the 24th! We'll have a quick meeting in the Forum starting at 3:45, and then bring your shades because we'll have an ice cream social outside, directly after the meeting! Be there or be square!

Sources of Strength 2018 is back! We’re a group designated to support hope, help and strength surrounding mental health. We need peer leaders to come support our mission and vision! If you are interested in this positive club and want to help out this great cause check out your school email for an rsvp link for our training this coming Friday. Thank you Warriors!!

Attention 16, 17, and 18 year olds! The Colorado Democracy Challenge—a nonpartisan voter registration drive, is here again today to register and pre-register students to vote! This is an exciting opportunity to participate in our democracy! In order to pre-register or register to vote, please remember to bring: An ID issued by the state of Colorado, or the last 4 digits of your social security number.

Attention FRESHMAN, please come to the Library to finish your MAP test by Friday. If you are not sure if you need to finish? Check with your math teacher or refer to the posters in the Cafeteria and in the Library.

Athletics 

Congrats to the Varsity softball team for their 14 to 0 win over Westminster yesterday. We had outstanding hitting by the Warriors, great Job ladies!

Your Arapahoe Boys’ Varsity soccer team hosts Ralston Valley High School this afternoon at 4:30 on the Arapahoe Varsity field. The Arapahoe JV plays Ralston Valley’s JV at 4:30 on the JV field.
