General Announcements 

Hey Warriors! TODAY during both lunches, we will have lots of clubs in the cafeteria for you to visit. You never know if you will find your new favorite thing. Come check it out.

Are you attending the AHS Homecoming Dance on September 15th? Would you like to bring a guest from another school? If so, please download the Guest Approval Form from the September DrumBeat that you and your family will receive today via email or stop by the Main office to pick one up. Forms must be back by September 11th.

Free Alive @25 class will be held on Monday September 17th after school from 3:45 - 8:15 in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee. If you are 15 1/2 you can get drivers permit after taking the class and a lot insurance companies give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up online at www.aliveat25.us To register for the class the password is "arapahoe" and see Deputy Englert if you have questions.

Athletics 

The JV gold boys tennis team beat Grandview yesterday 7-1, with four teams winning their matches in straight 8 game pro sets.

Come out & support your LPS Girls Gymnastics Team as they head to Overland High School tonight, the meet begins at 6pm.

The Girl’s Warriors Basketball team is in their second week of Fall Ball-Pre-Season play with the Varsity team playing Rock Canyon tonight at 8:30 pm in the main gym and the JV squad playing just before at 7:30 pm in the Aux Gym. Please come and support, no entry fees for anyone attending!

In Soccer news, tonight is the second evening of the Warrior Invitational Tournament at Littleton Public Schools stadium at Littleton High School. The Varsity squad will face off against Thunder Ridge High School at 7:30 pm and our JV team will host Douglas County High School at AHS at 5:45 pm. Come root on your Warriors this evening! Last night, your Boys’ Varsity Soccer team beat Greeley Central High School 3-0. Caleb Ballard scored two goals and Adam Hangland scored another for Arapahoe. The Arapahoe JV team was victorious by a 10-0 score over Greeley Central JV. Great job Warriors!
