General Announcements

Juniors (and interested sophomores) registration for PSAT is now open! Come to
the Counseling Department and sign up with Mrs. Ives. Cost for PSAT is $20.
Payment can be by cash or check (made out to AHS).  Registration begins today and
is open until Oct. 3rd.   PSAT test will be happening Wednesday morning, Oct. 10th.
We are encouraging every junior to take this test.  The PSAT is the only exam to qualify
a student for National Merit Scholar Status, when taken during junior year.
Warriors—you looked awesome in your homecoming gear last week. Now that we’re
back to normal, please continue to be mindful of our school dress code. Clothing items
that are not allowed include: pajama pants, hoods, spikes, and clothing that is revealing.
Per school policy, if you are out of dress code, you may be subject to additional action taken.

Attention All Junior and Seniors: The 2019 trip to Washington DC is here again! This trip
is an amazing opportunity to experience Washington DC and Capitol Hill first hand. If you are
interested in learning more, please come to a student interest meeting on Tuesday
September 25th at 7:55 am in room C1436. Bring a friend and talk to Mrs. Winn in the
Social Studies department if you have any questions!

Question... when is the next Key Club meeting? Answer... next Monday the 24th!
We'll have a quick meeting in the Forum starting at 3:45, and then bring your shades
because we'll have an ice cream social outside, directly after the meeting! Be there or
be square!

check out your school email for an rsvp link for our training this coming Friday. Thank you
Warriors!!

Attention FRESHMAN, please come to the Library to finish your MAP test by Friday. If you
are not sure if you need to finish? Check with your math teacher or refer to the posters in
the Cafeteria and in the Library.
