*Attention Freshmen! Hearing and Vision Testing is taking place next week from Monday, January 27th through Thursday, January 30th. You will be tested during your U.S. History class. Please be sure to wear and/or bring your glasses or contacts to school next week.
*As you probably know, this Friday is the Winter Assembly, and that means one thing...it's time for the 2020 Arapahoe Teacher Dance! This year is the 20th edition of the dance. To celebrate this milestone, we will be bringing back some fan favorites from the past 20 years and mashing them up with some popular hits from today. All week long, the Warrior Media Instagram account will be highlighting some of these dances and posting some trivia questions. Head over to the site and check it out! It will be awesome to see which teachers started dancing in 2001 and are still dancing in 2020!

*Attention all NHS members. We will have our first meeting meeting of 2020 for all current members on Thursday the 23rd after school in the forum. Attendance is not mandatory but highly encouraged, especially for new members.
*If you are a returning link crew leader and are interested in being a Commissioner next year, come to Mrs. Moritz’s room, C1455 this Wednesday, January 22 at 9:00 AM for an informational meeting! We will go over important dates and information about being a Commissioner. We hope to see you all there!
*Are you a little nervous about the ACT? Would you like to get a little boost of confidence? Sycamore Learning will be hosting an ACT Seminar at Arapahoe on February 3rd and 4th. To register, go to www.prepforthefuture.com.
*Free Alive @ 25 class this Wednesday, January 22nd, 3:45pm - 8:15 PM in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class, the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee. If you are 15 1/2 you can get your driver’s permit after taking the class and many insurance companies will give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line at www.aliveat25.us. To register for the class the password is "arapahoe". Any questions, ask Deputy Englert.
Athletics
*Your LPS Hockey team traveled to Minnesota this weekend and came home champions of their division of the Wayzata JGA High School Tournament. This weekend they face Kent Denver on Friday night at 6:45 PM at DU and Castle View on Saturday night at 8:30 PM at the Ice Ranch. Come out to cheer the boys on!
*Seniors: National Signing Day is coming up on Wednesday 2/5/20. Arapahoe will be holding a ceremony in the cafeteria that day at 7:30 AM. If you have signed a letter of intent to continue your athletic endeavors on a college campus next year please pick up paperwork from Mrs. Weems in the Athletic Office this week to participate in the ceremony on 2/5/20.

*The Boys Swim and Dive Team will kick-off our season Wednesday, January 29th at 6:00 PM in the HS Forum. All interested athletes and their parents are asked to attend to hear about our new season from the Coaches, Captains and Booster Board. Goals, fees and schedules will be discussed--please join us.
