General Announcements

*Last December Arapahoe High School's Theatre department had an incredible State Thespian Competition. 60 percent of our students attending received the highest possible performance rating and qualified for the National Thespian Competition this June. Five seniors also received 90 college callbacks. Maya Kwiatkowski was called back to the mainstage showcase, an honor only a very few out of over 5,000 students at the competition received. Please congratulate the following students whose superior work in their individual event qualified them for the National competition: Colby Kenney, Bella Tuccy, Maya Kwiatkowski, Cathy DeVoe, Sophie Mason, Cambria Bartlett, Ellie Olsen, Matthew Carey, Austin Sellers, Shellee Schwartz, Tiernan Palmer, Liv Nortnik, Hannah Waldvogel, Sky Easley, Amber Kou.

*There’s still one more chance to attend the State TSA Conference in February. It's not too late to pick up the State Paperwork today in order to turn it in on time tomorrow.  There will be a mandatory TSA meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 8th, after school in room E1284 for ALL members planning on attending the State conference. Your paperwork and money are due at this meeting. 

Athletics    

*Our Lady Water Warriors are back in the AHS pool at 5:00 PM tonight competing against Lewis Palmer and Ralston Valley. Come and cheer on your Warriors!

*Your LPS Hockey team has started off the season strong and are currently ranked 7th in the state. This week they have 3 games. They play Columbine today at 1:45 PM at the Edge. This weekend they face Mullen twice, Friday night is an away game at the Edge at 8:30 PM and on Saturday they play at home at South Suburban and the puck drops at 6:30 PM.

*Attention Baseball Players: There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, 1/8 at 3:45 in room N1475.  If you are interested in playing baseball this spring you must attend this meeting. Winter athletes- Do not attend this meeting, speak with coach Dollaghan during an off hour.
