General Announcements
*There’s still one more chance to attend the State TSA Conference in February if you turn in your paperwork and money today! There will be a mandatory TSA meeting today after school in room E1284 for ALL members planning on attending the State conference. Your paperwork and money are due at this meeting.
*Free Alive @ 25 class on Wednesday, January 22nd, 3:45pm - 8:15 PM in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class, the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee. If you are 15 1/2 you can get your driver’s permit after taking the class and many insurance companies will give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line at www.aliveat25.us. To register for the class the password is "arapahoe". Any questions, ask Deputy Englert.
*Taking the ACT in the near future? Sycamore Learning will host an ACT Seminar at Arapahoe on February 3rd and 4th. To register, go to www.prepforthefuture.com.
*ATTENTION FBLA!!! LISTEN CAREFULLY TO THE FOLLOWING ANNOUNCEMENT!!! Competition Season is officially beginning! If you are competing in a testing event or need to take a roleplay test, testing sessions will take place on the following dates: After school January 8, 13, 14, and 15. A testing session will also be held before school on January 15 from 8:15-9:15 AM. On behalf of Mr. Sawyer, Mrs. Swank, and the FBLA officer team, good luck with your event and we will see you at the district conference on Tuesday, February 4th!
Athletics
*Attention Baseball Players: There will be an informational meeting today at 3:45PM in room N1475. If you are interested in playing baseball this spring you must attend this meeting. Winter athletes- Do not attend this meeting, speak with coach Dollaghan during an off hour.
*All girl golfers who plan on playing this Spring, there will be a very short mandatory meeting in S1414 after school next week Wednesday, January 15th. Please see Coach Riordan with any questions
*Support the Girls Swim and Dive team by eating at the Varsity Inn this Saturday, January 11th. You can go for lunch, dinner or snacks because the Varsity Inn is generously donating 20% of all food sales for the whole day! Again, please join us at the Varsity Inn on Saturday, January 11th to support Girls Swim and Dive. (click here for the flier)
