General Announcements
*Seniors: If you have not yet submitted the Senior Exit Survey in Naviance, please do so as soon as you know your post secondary plans. It must be completed before you can pick up your cap & gown! Open the Naviance icon in your Google Waffle, click ‘About Me’, then ‘Surveys from your School’. Surveys completed by May 4th will be featured in The Herald!
*Also, Seniors: please submit verification of any and all scholarship offers to Ms. Conn as soon as possible, even those from schools you don't plan to attend! We don't know your awards if you don't tell us!
*Monday, May 1st is National Decision Day! Seniors: wear your future college or program gear to celebrate your post grad plans!
*Warriors - for those who applied to be a Link Crew leader for the upcoming school year. Please check your email this week regarding your acceptance into Link Crew. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Moritz, Mrs. Bradley, Mr. Trotter, or Mr. Brandberg.
*It has come down to this! 7 men are vying for the title of Mr. Arapahoe. Come see them dance, strut their stuff, show off a talent and compete against each other on Tuesday, May 2nd at 7:00pm. Tickets are only $5 at the door, so come out and help vote for the Senior Class of 2023 Mr. Arapahoe.
*WE NEED YOU! Come try-out to be one of the amazing Daily Announcers for the 2023-24 school year. We need a few students who want to commit to 1 day a week, giving AHS news to our students and staff through our daily announcements. Auditions will be May 1st-5th. Come to the Front Desk and sign up for a time to try-out! Let your voice shine through our Daily Announcements.
*Juniors and Seniors! Get excited as we approach Prom - On Cloud Nine! It’s on Saturday, May 6th from 8:00pm - 11:00pm at Wings Over the Rockies. Tickets can now be purchased during both lunches for $40, or they can be purchased for $50 at the door. SEE YOU THERE!!
*After-Prom will be at AHS from 12 midnight -4:00am on Sunday, May 7th. Tickets are also available to purchase at lunches with prom tickets. Tickets for After-Prom are $30 each. There will be great prizes and gifts to be raffled off as well as a ton of fun activities.
*Seniors and Juniors! If you would like to bring a guest (a non-AHS student) to Prom or After-Prom, guest pass paperwork is available in the Activities Office or at the Front Desk. Guests must have paperwork in place before attending Prom.
Athletics
*Come and cheer on your Varsity Track & Field team as they compete at the Liberty Invite TODAY at the LPS Stadium starting at 3:30pm.
*Support your Girls Lacrosse Varsity team as they take on Chaparral at Echo Park field TODAY at 4:30pm.
