General Announcements
*Calling all students! Would you like to be an AHS Daily Announcer for the 2023-24 school year? We need a few students who would like to commit to 1 day a week, giving AHS news to our students and staff through our daily announcements. Auditions will be May 1st-5th. Come to the Front Desk and sign up for a time to try-out! Let your voice shine through our Daily Announcements.
*Ready, Set, WORK! Come to the AHS Job Fair after school TOMORROW. Local employers are coming to Arapahoe to recruit our amazing Warriors. Over 30 employers will be in our cafeteria ready to hire summer workers, some will even offer positions on the spot! Dress nicely, bring a resume or paper with some of your highlights, and get ready to make some money this summer. We hope to see you there.
*Seniors! Please complete the Senior Exit Survey by May 1st if you want to be included in The Herald! Click the "About Me" tab in Naviance to find the survey. It must be completed by all graduating seniors before you can pick up your cap & gown.
*National Decision Day is Monday, May 1st! Seniors, wear your new college or program gear to celebrate your post-grad plans!
*Juniors and Seniors! Get excited as we approach Prom - On Cloud Nine! It’s on Saturday, May 6th from 8:00pm - 11:00pm at Wings Over the Rockies. Tickets can now be purchased during both lunches for $40, or they can be purchased for $50 at the door. SEE YOU THERE!!
*After-Prom will be at AHS from 12 midnight -4:00am on Sunday, May 7th. Tickets are also available to purchase at lunches with prom tickets. Tickets for After-Prom are $30 each. There will be great prizes and gifts to be raffled off as well as a ton of fun activities.
*Seniors and Juniors! If you would like to bring a guest (a non-AHS student) to Prom or After-Prom, guest pass paperwork is available in the Activities Office or at the Front Desk. Guests must have paperwork in place before attending Prom.
Athletics
*Good luck to the Girls Varsity Golf team TODAY as they play in the Centennial League game at Kennedy Golf Course.
*Come support our LPS Boys Volleyball teams TONIGHT as they take on Grandview in the Centennial League Challenge in the AHS main gym. Varsity is at 6:30pm, JV is at 5:30pm and C Level is at 4:15. Remember, any LPS student with a school athletic pass get in FREE!
*Cheer on your ABK Girls Soccer teams TONIGHT as they take on Cherry Creek. Varsity plays at the Stutler Bowl at 6:00pm. The JV team plays at Village Greens Park at 4:30pm.
