General Announcements
*Warrior Week begins Monday, April 17th. Don’t forget to buy your Warrior Week shirt for $10 during lunch this week. Shirts will be available to purchase before school starts on Friday.
*Are you hoping to make some money this summer? Have you started looking for a job yet? Well you're in luck, local employers are coming to Arapahoe High School on Wednesday, April 26th, immediately after school to recruit some of our amazing Warriors. Over 30 employers will be in our cafeteria ready to hire summer workers, some will even offer positions on the spot! Dress nicely, bring a resume or paper with some of your highlights, and get ready to make some money this summer. We hope to see you at the Job Fair on April 26th.
*Attention current Sophomores and Juniors - Link Crew wants you to lead through activities, leadership class, and relationships. If you are interested in being a LINK Crew Leader for the 2023-2024 school year, complete an online application by Friday, April 14. Link Crew applications can be found on our Google Site found under Activities on the Arapahoe web page. We look forward to working alongside you in servant leadership. *Warriors - “Head Above Water”, a Capstone Project here at Arapahoe, is looking to help kids aging out of the foster care system. We could really use your support on our GoFundMe named "Help Foster Kids Who are Aging Out" and through the donation of apartment supplies. Look for posters around the school with the QR codes as well as donation boxes. Thank you for supporting this great cause!
*Are you interested in the airline industry? Careers range from pilot, aircraft mechanic, baggage handler, to customer service rep. If this interests you, please consider attending the EPIC Campus "Airline Symposium" at Wings Over the Rockies on April 30th and May 1st, 2023. Go to ourshadesofblue.org for more information.
*Earn high school graduation credit this Spring/Summer by taking drivers education through LPS. We have classes filling up quickly so go to Littleton Public Schools Drivers Education to register. https://littletonpublicschools.net/driversed.
Athletics
*Come support your Girls ABK soccer teams as they play Cherokee Trail Thursday, April 13th. Varsity plays at 6:00pm at Legacy Stadium and JV plays at Cherokee Trail HS at 4:30pm.
*Cheer on your LPS Boys Volleyball teams as they play against Cherokee Trail Thursday, April 13 at Cherokee Trail HS. Varsity plays at 6:30pm, JV plays at 5:30pm and C level plays at 4:15pm.
*Congratulations to Sam Tayloe, Jack Beveridge and Jack Hannock on their U16 Tier 2 Nationals Championship title in Ice Hockey played in Buffalo, New York last week. Representing Colorado, their team won a total of 6 games at the tournament.
