General Announcements
*Do you love playing Chess? Join us for the Chess Tournament at Littleton High School on Saturday, April 22nd from 8 am to noon. The Tournament is open to all level players in grades 9 through 12. Registration will be open until Thursday, April 13th. Please see Ms. McKee or Ms. Rivera in the counseling office for more information.
*Warrior Week starts April 17th! This year we are fundraising to send our adorable, Make-a-Wish kid Stefan to Hawaii! Warrior Week t-shirts go on sale this Friday, April 7th, during both lunches. They sold out last year, so bring $10 in cash or check to the cafeteria during both lunches to buy your shirt.
*If you're planning to attend ACC or one of the 13 other community colleges in Colorado this fall, don't miss the opportunity to apply for Scholarships! The application closes on April 16th. See Mrs. Conn or your counselor for more information.
*Are you a graduating senior who has completed or is currently enrolled in the Personal Finance class at AHS? Consider applying for the Personal Finance Scholarship by April 15th for $1000 toward your education! Stop by the Post-Secondary Center in room S1401 for more details.
*Seniors: The Senior Exit Survey will open this Thursday, April 6th, in Tribe. If you were offered any scholarships, please have a list with total amounts of each ready. If you won't be in Tribe, please find the link to instructions on the Postsecondary website and complete the survey as soon as you know your postgrad plans.
*Are you interested in discussing opportunities in the National Guard after graduation? Meet with our local recruiter TODAY in the cafeteria during both lunches!
Athletics
*Come out and support your ABK Girls Varsity and JV soccer teams TODAY. Varsity plays at 6:00pm at LPS Stadium and JV plays at 4:30pm at Arapahoe soccer field. Both teams play against Cherry Creek.
*Come cheer on your 8-1, LPS Boys Volleyball teams this week! TONIGHT, Varsity will play @ 6:30pm and JV will play at 5:30pm. Both games are against Eaglecrest in the AHS main gym. Any LPS student with an athletics pass (from any of our schools) will get in free. Support the teams on Thursday, April 6th as they play at Grandview. Varsity is at 6:30pm, JV is at 5:30 pm and C team plays at 4:30pm.
