“Gimme some sugar!” The Class of 2009 will be selling heart-shaped cookies from Cookies by Design especially for Valentine’s Day! You can place your order, in the cafeteria during both lunches. For $2.00 you can order a special treat to be delivered to your special someone on February 14th!
Attention all current LINK LEADERS: We have a MANDATORY meeting Thursday, February 15th at 2:30 in room C12. If you’re unavailable, please see one of the sponsors beforehand.
Seniors—please attend the senior class meeting on Valentine’s Day to work on the Cultural Exchange with the Arapaho Tribe. This is a mandatory meeting tomorrow, after school in room C-1, for all who’ve been approved to participate and for those who are still interested.
Students: Remember Career Day is April 10, 2006. We have had a great response from the student body and we will honor the request to extend registration. Registration has been extended and will close on February 16, 2007. Students not registered by February 16, 2007, will be required to register one-on-one in the Guidance Office. Invest in your future. Sign up now.

Congratulations to the following freshmen who have won $50 cash. These students participated in the DU single-gender survey last semester and their names were selected randomly from all students who completed both the pre-survey and the post-survey. And the winners are: Jordan Bridges, Laura Feehs,

Attention sophomores and juniors! Are you interested in taking college courses next school year while you’re still enrolled at AHS? If so, you must attend a mandatory informational meeting on February 28th during first or second lunch in the forum. Please see your counselor if you have any questions!
Athletics
Girls interested in playing Golf this spring must attend an informational meeting today, Feb. 13th after school in room S8. Please see Coach Abner if you cannot attend.
Baseball and Boys Swimming registration will take place at 2:30 today in Room S3. Please make sure you have all your paperwork filled out before you come to the registration.
Girls Tennis, Soccer and Golf registration will be held tomorrow, February 14th at 2:30 pm in Room S3. Registration paperwork is available in the Athletic Office.
Boy’s basketball will be hosting their final regular season home game tonight against Highlands Ranch. It is also “Senior Night” so please come help us honor our seniors before the game. Varsity tip off will begin at approximately 7:00 pm.
The girl’s teams will be traveling to Highlands Ranch to take on the Falcons. The varsity game will start at 7:00 pm. Go Warriors!
Congratulations to the Girls Swim and Dive team for winning the Continental League Championships! Congratulations to the following new state qualifiers: Devon Smith, Megan Perron, Sarah Eiger, Emily Thompson, and Emily Anderson! The girls swimming and diving team will be competing at state Friday and Saturday in Fort Collins! Thanks for all your support this season!
