“Gimme some sugar!” The Class of 2009 will be selling heart-shaped cookies from Cookies by Design especially for Valentine’s Day! You can place your order, in the cafeteria during both lunches. For $2.00 you can order a special treat to be delivered to your special someone on February 14th!
DID YOU KNOW ...The heart pumps about 1 million barrels of blood during an average lifetime--that's enough to fill more than 3 super tankers.
Sign up for the Blood Drive during lunch hours this week. There are only 18 spots left. Students ages 16 and older can donate this year. Sixteen and seventeen year olds just need parent permission. The Blood Drive will take place on Thursday, Feb. 15th.
Students: Remember the deadline for registering for Career Day is Monday, February 12th. The Career Day is mandatory for all students at Arapahoe. Please make your selections and don't miss out on an exciting day.
Please plan to attend our Valentine’s Day social on Friday after school in room E2. All FCCLA members – new and old – are welcome to attend. Don’t forget that you need to let Mrs. Rains know if you are planning to attend District and State Conference by today as well. See you then FCCLA.
Auditions for the Spring Musical "The Music Man" will be next week. Check call board in the Theater hallway or see Mr. Earley if you have questions. There will be an audition workshop after school today in the Theatre from 2:30 to 3:30, so don't miss it.
All cast members of "Our Hearts Were Young and Gay" wish to thank you for attending... you were great audiences. Cast members please pick up your stuff or it will be donated to a good cause.

Athletics
Attention girls Lacrosse Players. Please make sure you have your Arapahoe registration forms in to Mrs. Scoglio before February 20th. You will not be allowed to try out unless they are in.
SPRING SPORTS REGISTRATION will take place in Room S3 from 2:30-3:30 pm beginning on Monday, February 12th. Boys and Girls Track will register on Monday, Baseball and Boys Swimming on Tuesday and Girls Tennis, Soccer and Golf on Wednesday. Please stop by the Athletic Office to pick up all paperwork that must be completed before you come to registration.
The Regional qualifying wrestlers from Arapahoe travel to Columbine tonight with matches starting at 4:00 pm. Good luck Warriors!
Girls interested in playing Golf this spring must attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 13th after school in room S8. Please see Coach Abner if you cannot attend.
Girls Swimming will host the A-League prelims beginning at 5:30 pm today.and the girls swimming and diving League Championship Saturday at 3:00pm here at Arapahoe. The girls diving A-league prelims is Saturday morning at 8:00am, so come out and support the AHS girls swim and dive team in their last home meet this season
