General Announcements

Hey Arapahoe!! Key Club is sponsoring a supplies drive for our US troops. Please help us by bringing in items they have requested like new or old DVD’s, or even candy! The drive will continue through today, so please bring in all you can! There are boxes to place your donations in, in department offices and many classrooms. Please support Key Club and help your troops overseas.

Today teachers will be talking during 2nd hour about the upcoming 2007 Career Day to be held at AHS on April 10, 2007. If you have an unscheduled 2nd hour class, information concerning the Career Day will be available to you during 4th hour in the cafeteria this week. You will need to pick up the List of Careers and Instructions for making your Career Day requests. If you have further questions, see Ms. Messer in the Business Department.

All Student Council kids who are attending the Tri School Retreat need to be at the south cafeteria door entrance by 11:15 am today, ready to go.

“Gimme some sugar!” The Class of 2009 will be selling heart-shaped cookies from Cookies by Design especially for Valentine’s Day! Starting February 7th, in the cafeteria during both lunches, for $2.00 you can order a special treat to be delivered to your special someone on February 14th!

Chocolate roses have arrived. If you are planning to sell roses please stop by Mrs. Rains’ office and pick up a box anytime today or Monday. Also, we will have a meeting on Monday February 5th after school in room E2. If you are planning to attend Districts or State Conference you must attend this meeting. We will also be discussing our visit to the Sacred Heart Homeless Shelter in March.

Athletics

Attention all B League swimmers. Please note the following practice schedule for today. Meet in the pool for practice at 2:30 today. All Varity swimmers - your practice will begin at will be at 3:30PM. The C League bus will leave at 3:30 PM

Varsity Girls basketball will host the eagles of Mt Vista tonight at 7:00 pm. The boys will travel to Mt Vista and also play at 7:00 pm. On Saturday, the boys will travel to Columbine for a 1:30 game. Good luck Warriors!

Hey Habitat for Humanity members, please come to an important meeting after school on Wednesday, February 7th in room C18.

Hey Wild Warrior Women, we will be having a meeting on Monday, February 5th, at 2:20pm in the forum to decide spirit shirts and talk about our plans for the second semester. Please attend.

The Young Democrats and Republicans will be having a debate on foreign policy on Wednesday, February 7th. This debate is set up like a Presidential debate with open questions from the audience. The entire school is welcome to attend.

The Remember Club asks you to buckle up and take care of one another.
