February is Heart Health Month. Cardiovascular Disease still remains the leading cause of death for men and women in the United States. Yet there are so many things we can do to prevent this from happening to us. The PE Department challenges everyone at AHS to do something more this month to care for your heart. Heart Health trivia: It takes only about 23 seconds for blood to circulate throughout your entire body.

Person 1: I think I feel like singing! “La la la la la la la la!!”
Person 2: That reminds me! Did you know Mrs. Moritz, Mrs. Ackerman, and Mrs. Comp are singing together at Arapahoe’s Teacher Talent Show?
Person 1: No way! I’m cancelling my very important plans on Thursday, February 7th at 7pm. I’m totally going to come! I’ll buy my ticket during lunch for $5.
Person 2: Hopefully my whole family can come that night so I think I’ll buy my tickets at the auditorium door.
Person 1: Yeah, it’s going to be really entertaining; the auditorium is usually pretty jam packed! See you there!

Spanish Club will be going to the Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant next Tuesday night, February 5th for a fun night of salsa dancing! Join us in experiencing culture with rhythms and great food, and dance the night away! See Ms. DiSepio to sign up ~ all are welcome.
