Athletics
Congratulations to the Varsity Cheers for an outstanding finish at the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship this past weekend in Orlando, Florida! The girls competed in the Large Varsity division against 48 other teams from all over the country. With a near perfect performance in the semi-finals, the Warriors advanced to finals with 25 other teams. They again had an outstanding performance in finals and finished 11th in the nation! The boys varsity basketball team needs your support tonight when they play Highlands Ranch AT Highlands Ranch. Varsity plays at 7pm. Come cheer for your team.
Attention ALL female athletes at AHS. You are all invited to attend the Girls Varsity Basketball Game tonight at 7pm. At this game we will recognize all of our female athletes in honor of National Girls and Women in Sports Day. FREE ADMISSION for all female athletes on Feb. 12th at the girls varsity basketball game. We hope you can make it and be recognized for your participation in sport at Arapahoe High School.
Attention all girls interested in playing tennis this spring: The registration for girls’ tennis is Thursday, February 14 from 2:30 – 3:30 pm in room S-4. Registration packets can be picked up in advance from the Athletic Office. All girls intending to tryout need to have their “pink” card with them on the first day of tryouts which is Tuesday, Feb. 19.
