General Announcements

Feeling sleepy? Why don’t you sleep in tomorrow!! This is a reminder that tomorrow – February 27th is a PLC Day. Classes will begin at 9:21!! So enjoy those extra hours of sleep.

Attention anyone wanting to help stomp out global hunger. Stop into the LMC computer lab today after school and test your vocabulary with free rice.com. Amnesty international is challenging us to see how many bags of rice we can contribute in one hour, stop in and compete; this event is open to anyone interested.

"There will be a TSA meeting tonight in Room E10 at 2:25. For today's meeting, we will continue signing up for events and working on TSA projects for the State TSA competition in April. If you haven't turned in your conference paperwork and money yet, you can at today's meeting"

Attention AHS and Link Crew students, if you are interesting in helping with parent /teacher conferences on March 6, please stop in the Attendance Office and see Mrs. Scoglio.

Attention mathematicians! The AMC-B Version is scheduled for Wednesday, February 27th at 7:30 a.m. in room S-12. Take advantage of this opportunity to let your math talents shine! Please return your permission form to your math teacher as soon as possible.

Anyone interested in a community service project? Check with Mrs. Lewallen in the Post Grad Center.

Spanish Club will be meeting this Thursday, February 28th at 6:00 p.m. at Los Arcos Mexican Restaurant for delicious food and fabulous mariachi music. The restaurant is located in Lone Tree on Forsstrom Drive. See Ms. DiSepio for directions and to secure your reservation.

Athletics

Special Olympic basketball partners please stop by room S-6 to pick up the basketball tournament schedule.

The Boys and Girls Basketball teams have made it to the State playoffs! The girls will be playing Pomona Thursday night at 7:00 pm here at Arapahoe. The boys will play on Friday night also here at Arapahoe at 7:00 pm. Admission prices will be $4 for students and Senior Citizens and $5 for adults. No student passes will be accepted at either game. Good luck Warriors!

Attention all you spirited Warriors out there! Next Tuesday, March 4th, there will be a mandatory informational student-athlete meeting for anyone interested in trying out for one of our Cheerleading teams for the 2008-2009 school year. It will be held in the main gym at 6:00 p.m. You and a parent must attend if you are interested in cheering next year

ATTENTION ALL GIRLS TENNIS TEAM PLAYERS! There is a mandatory meeting for all parents and girls who make the JV or Varsity tennis teams on Wednesday night from 6:30 to 8:00 in the Forum. We will be taking orders for uniforms and other clothing items. We will be collecting money for the uniforms and booster club fees, so remind your parents to bring their checkbooks. Come get the scoop on our season's activities and match schedules and hear from your coaches. We look forward to seeing you there!
