General Announcements

Students are reminded that they should carry their student ID during the school day.

Hey all Muse members! We have a meeting today, Thursday the 17th, in room E-11. We have fun, important things to talk about! Come to E-11, we could really “muse” you.

Student Council’s Remember… Campaign will have a meeting today after school in Room C14 to discuss the Teen Seat Belt Challenge. Everyone is welcome.

Thespians…if you are planning to attend the Colorado State Thespian Conference please attend very important meeting right after school on Friday Sept. 18. If you cannot attend see Mr. Earley.

Hey students, come see your fellow classmates perform their incredible talents. Tickets to the Fall Talent show are on sale in the cafeteria from Tuesday, September 15th through Tuesday, September 22nd for $5.00. Sales will help support this year’s Prom! The show is in the AHS Theater on Tuesday, September 22nd at 5 and 7:00 p.m. We hope to see you there!

Seniors… Class of 2010: Graduation announcement information packets can be picked up in the Main Office or the Guidance Office. Orders will be taken Thursday, October 1 and Friday, October 2, 10:30-12:15 in the cafeteria.

Seniors, are you interested in attending one of the United States Military Academies? If you live in the 7th Congressional District, you need to complete an academy application from Congressman Perlmutter. All applications are due by September 25. Come to the Guidance Office to pick up an application.

Athletics

Congratulations to the Varsity and JV Golfers who finished in first place at the Centennial League tournament at South Suburban. The Varsity was led by Brian Zenk’s 72, Adam Johnson’s 72 and Joe Smith’s 73. The JV team was led by Kyle Zedaker’s 80. The Varsity finished the Centennial League season in 2nd place overall and the JV in 1st place.

Congrats to varsity volleyball for the win against Rock Canyon last night. The Warriors improved to 3-1 and play next at the Eaglecrest Tournament on Saturday. Special thanks to Parker, Bobby, Jenna, Jake, and Kristina for being such great fans!
