General Announcements

The Homecoming Royalty Assembly is on Tuesday, September 8. Assembly Schedules are posted around the building. Please check to make sure you know when your classes begin.

EeePCs are in the library! Students may checkout a EeePC Netbook to use in the library –all you need is your student ID. The EeePCs are a great option if all the desktop computers are being used or you’d simply like to sit at a table to complete your work. The wireless access in the library is excellent. The next time you need to use a computer, drop by the library and give one of these a try.

The Muse Magazine, Arapahoe’s only publication of arts and literature created solely by students, is meeting today in E-11 after school. Those of you who signed up at the Club CafĂ©, we’re looking forward to seeing you! We are starting a brand new year and have a new leadership team and a creative crew of students who are interested in making this year’s magazine the best ever! Our meetings will be the first and third Thursdays of the month. If you have questions about it, ask one of the faculty sponsors about it: those sponsors are Mr. Miles, Mrs. Davis, and Mrs. Cladney in the Language Arts office, and Mrs. Hitchens in the Art department. Come on down to our first meeting with our new leadership today in E-11, down in the art area, after school. See you there!

Hey Arapahoe! We want to give more of you an opportunity to audition for the Fall Talent Show so we are giving you some more time to put those fantastic acts together. Auditions will now be Monday, September 14th and Tuesday, September 15th! Sign up in the main office and show us your talent.

Students: Class ring orders will be taken today in the cafeteria, from 10:30-12:15. A fifty dollar down payment is needed to place an order. Ring packets can be picked up in the main office or guidance office.
