General Announcements

Attention Seniors: the deadline for getting your senior class panoramic group picture ordered at the lowest price is this Saturday at midnight. Extra order envelopes are available in the main office, or you can order online at: www.BigClassPicture.com.

Next week is Homecoming week! Start out right in your dressy black and white. Monday is black and white formal day in honor of the royalty assembly. Remember, we tally dress up days. Try to rack up some points for your class!

The Homecoming Royalty Assembly is on Tuesday, September 8. Assembly Schedules are posted around the building. Please check to make sure you know when your classes begin.

Attention all FCCLA’ers: Officer applications are due to Mrs. Rains today by 3:00 pm. Don’t miss out on the ultimate leadership experience by not turning in your application today!

EeePCs are in the library! Students may checkout a EeePC Netbook to use in the library –all you need is your student ID. The EeePCs are a great option if all the desktop computers are being used or you’d simply like to sit at a table to complete your work. The wireless access in the library is excellent. The next time you need to use a computer, drop by the library and give one of these a try.

Students…..If you have received an Arapahoe Student Calendar that has several pages of the calendar section incorrectly assembled, please go to the Main Office to exchange it for a corrected version. Apparently one case of calendars was distributed with this assembly mistake. Thank you!

Hey Arapahoe! We want to give more of you an opportunity to audition for the Fall Talent Show so we are giving you some more time to put those fantastic acts together. Auditions will now be Monday, September 14th and Tuesday, September 15th! Sign up in the main office and show us your talent.

FCCLA will be working on their Homecoming float beginning on Tuesday in Room E2 after school. All members are welcome – even if this is your first time attending. Be a “Warrior” and help build the most amazing float ever!

This Saturday at Molly O’Donnell’s house from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. we’ll be putting the final touches on the float. WE NEED YOUR HELP AGAIN SOPHOMORES! Thanks.

“FBLA is Simply the Best.” Attention all FBLA members, our first meeting of the year will be on Wednesday, September 9th after school in room S3. Be sure to bring your friends as we will be discussing many upcoming events, such as community service opportunities and competitions.

Applications are now being accepted for student openings on the Arapahoe School Accountability Committee. This committee is an advisory board of parents, staff, administrators, and students. It meets one Thursday each month at 4:00 p.m. for 2 hours. You must have attended Arapahoe for at least one year to apply. Applications are available from Mrs. Gottlieb in the Attendance Office.
