Students: Your school picture packets can be picked up today or Monday in the theater hallway during lunches. Picture retake day is Tuesday, October 13, 9:00-12:30.
Link Crew is collecting any used cell phones for the Recycle and Reward program, which raises money to send to the troops overseas. This is the last day to drop off phones on the counter in the English Dept.
Hey Key Club members! If you haven’t already paid your dues, your $15 for club shirts is due on Monday, September 28th. Get it in so we can order them; no money, no shirt. Talk to an officer if you have any questions.

Seniors… Class of 2010: Graduation announcement information packets can be picked up in the Main Office or the Guidance Office. Orders will be taken Thursday, October 1 and Friday, October 2, 10:30-12:15 in the cafeteria.
CDOT reported that 43 people aged 16-20 died in Colorado car crashed during 2007, a steep drop from previous years. By buckling up every time, we can continue to reduce this number. Student Council and the Remember Campaign ask you to buckle up and take care of one another.
Athletics
Congratulations to the Freshmen Football team for their impressive 35-6 victory yesterday over ThunderRidge. It was another total team effort. The victory pushes the Freshmen record to 4-0 and sets them up for a great contest next Saturday against Cherry Creek here at AHS @ 9:00 AM. Plan to come out and support your undefeated Freshman Warriors.
Congrats to the Boys’ JV Soccer team as they defeated Eaglecrest 3 – 1 yesterday.
Congratulations to the Boys’ Varsity Soccer team who defeated Eaglecrest 1 – 0 in their league opener.
Congrats to Varsity, Sophomore, and Freshman Volleyball for their wins last night against Overland. They face Grandview and Eaglecrest next week. Good luck!
Attention all girls swimmers and divers: Our first informational team meeting is coming up this Monday, September 28th! Whether you are a new or returning swimmer or diver, we'd like you to attend this meeting! It will take place right after school, at 2:30, in the pool area!
