General Announcements

Attention Seniors and Juniors: If you plan to bring a guest from another school to prom, please make sure you pick up your 2011 Prom Guest Approval Form in the Attendance office. These forms are due back to Mrs. Gottlieb no later than Tuesday, April 26th at 3:00 p.m.

Do you like Coffee, Jazz, Corporate romances, or scandalous secretaries? If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, have we got a show for you!! Come see the spring musical How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on April 13th-16th at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $8.00 and will be available to buy during lunches.

The Art Department is proud to present our “Art Attack” 2011. Please enjoy the artwork by our Arapahoe artists now on display in the Theater Hallway and the showcase in the cafeteria.

Attention all Arapahoe artists! Tuesday, April 12, is the Awards Night at 7:00 in the Theater Hallway. See you all there!

Congratulations to Jake Mirow on taking top honors at the Mesa State College Creative Pianists Competition last Saturday. Jake earned top honors in the Best Contemporary Performance Category, as well as the Most Versatile Pianist Category. Jake was invited to perform in the Winner’s Recital on Saturday evening.

Congratulations to Arapahoe TSA member, Sean Fritter, for recently being elected to the state officer board as the new Colorado TSA State Reporter. Way to go Sean, your hard work and perseverance has paid off. Arapahoe High School is proud of you!

Seniors, interested in speaking at graduation? Auditions take place Thursday, April 28. Sign up by April 22 at Mrs. Sisler’s desk in the Guidance Office or see Mr. Kleeman in Language Arts Office.

Love business? Have you taken many business classes? If you have, you may qualify for a Certificate of Proficiency in Business Management, Technology, Accounting or Marketing. Please stop by the Business Department for your application. Applications are due no later than April 15th.

Attention Students: The district has a no charging policy. Please make sure you bring money with you if you do not have funds in your lunch account to purchase from the kitchen. For those who pay on line or by check, please make sure you stay informed of your current balance and replace funds as soon as they become low to prevent being turned away from purchasing. Negative balances are not allowed.

Athletics

The girls Gold Lacrosse team beat ThunderRidge on Saturday with a score of 4 - 2. Way to go Warriors. Their next game is today at 4:00 against Chatfield at Deer Creek Middle School. Come cheer them on.

Friday, the Boys Lacrosse JV-Gold was victorious over Mullen High School with a Score of 8-6.

Saturday, the Boys Lacrosse Level 3 team was victorious over Grandview High School with a score of 7-3. Go Warriors Lacrosse!

Congrats to the girls' JV Black lacrosse team for their 10-8 victory over Regis on Friday afternoon. It was an exciting, hard-fought game! Way to go, Warriors!

Congratulations to the Ladies Varsity Lacrosse team for their decisive victory over the Overland Trailblazers last Friday afternoon. The Warriors dominated with a score of 16 - 0. Well done, Warriors! Please come out and support your Warriors for their 3 games this week, beginning tomorrow against the Denver East High School Angels.

Congratulations to the Arapahoe boys swim team for winning the First Annual Arapahoe Invite this Saturday. The team was led by John Bohenick and Tyler Saurber who both qualified for A League. Please support your boys swim team at the Arapahoe pool Tuesday April 12, vs. Littleton and Heritage. The meet starts at 4 pm.
