General Announcements

Attention Drama Club! There will be an IMPORTANT meeting after school today to vote for the end of year awards and discuss the lettering process. The meeting will begin promptly at 2:30 in the Theater. See Mr. Ahern or an Advisory Board Member for questions.

Do you want more excitement in your life? Do you find yourself falling asleep due to lack of entertainment? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you need to come to the Prom Fashion and Talent Show. Its two exciting events packed into one! The show is Thursday night at 5 and 7 pm in the AHS Theater. Tickets are only $5 and go on sale today during both lunches.

Attention Warriors this year’s upcoming Prom will be held at the Wildlife Experience on Saturday April 30. Prom tickets will be on sale in the cafeteria during both lunches starting on Friday April 22. The price of one ticket is $35 ahead of time and $40 at the door. Make sure to get your ticket for this year’s “moon lit serenade”.

Attention Seniors and Juniors: If you plan to bring a guest from another school to prom, please make sure you pick up your 2011 Prom Guest Approval Form in the Attendance office. These forms are due back to Mrs. Gottlieb no later than Tuesday, April 26th at 3:00 p.m.

Seniors, interested in speaking at graduation? Auditions take place Thursday, April 28. Sign up by April 22 at Mrs. Sisler’s desk in the Guidance Office or see Mr. Kleeman in Language Arts Office.

Athletics

Congrats to the girls JV soccer team who remain undefeated following a great 1 – 0 win against Cherry Creek on Friday.

The Arapahoe Boys Swimming and Diving won the team championship this past weekend at the Jefferson County Invite. Leading the way for the Warriors was senior Jeremiah (Z –Glins-ski) Zgliczynski who placed first in the 500 freestyle. In the JV portion of the meet Patrick Austin, John Bohenick and Brandon Walter won their events.

Congratulations to the Girls' Varsity lacrosse team in their overwhelming victory over Cherokee Trail on Friday afternoon. In wind-tunnel conditions, the Warriors dominated the Cougars on all sides of the ball with a final score of 20 - 2. Well done, Warriors!
