General Announcements

Arapahoe has TONS of talent! Results for the Spring Talent Show will be posted tomorrow morning outside the of the social studies office. The Sophomore Class wishes to thank the 31 acts that auditioned for the show. While only ten acts will be in the show, it was impressive to see so many talented AHS students. Stay tuned for details on the show.

Attention Seniors and Juniors: If you plan to bring a guest from another school to prom, please make sure you pick up your 2011 Prom Guest Approval Form in the Attendance office. These forms are due back to Mrs. Gottlieb no later than Tuesday, April 26th at 3:00 p.m.

FBLA we are in need of jelly beans to fill 2000 Easter Eggs for Littleton Historical Museum’s annual egg hunt. Please bring them to the Business Office by Friday. We will be filling them on April 13 after school.

Do you like Coffee, Jazz, Corporate romances, or scandalous secretaries? If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, have we got a show for you!! Come see the spring musical How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on April 13th-16th at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $8.00 and will be available to buy during lunches.

Do you like problem solving? Is math a fun challenge for you? Well if so, then you should participate in Metro State Math Day on Tuesday April 12. This is a fun filled day of math competitions, building competitions and a chance to see your math knowledge put to action. If you are interested, get a permission slip from Ms.Bretz desk in the math office and sign up. Hurry, only the first 10 can go! Come challenge yourself!

The Muse Showcase is here once again! Celebrate the accomplishments of submitted authors, poets, and artists tonight at 7:00 pm in the forum. Music and food will be provided along with free copies of the 2011 Muse magazine to those students’ whose work was published. Hope to see you there!

Love business? Have you taken many business classes? If you have, you may qualify for a Certificate of Proficiency in Business Management, Technology, Accounting or Marketing. Please stop by the Business Department for you application. Applications are due no later than April 15th.

Athletics

Your Arapahoe Warrior Boys Swim and Dive team is currently ranked 6th in the State! Come support your team on Saturday at the first annual Warrior Invitational at Arapahoe High School beginning at 9:00 AM.

Yesterday, Boys Lacrosse Level 3 team was victorious over Littleton High School, score was 9-1 Arapahoe. The Level 3 team plays again Saturday at 10am at Grandview High School.

Cheer on the Boys Lacrosse JV-Gold team this Friday at 4:30p against Mullen at Mullen High School.

Come cheer on the ABK Soccer teams today at AHS fields as they take on Overland. Varsity kicks off at 4:30. Also, congratulations to the undefeated Varsity team in their 1st league win over Eaglecrest on Tuesday 1 to 0. Go Warriors!

Congratulations to Arapahoe's Girls Varsity Lacrosse team in their victory over Eaglecrest yesterday with a final score of 25-0. The Warriors dominated with 13 different girls scoring goals, led by Rachel Sutton with 5. Way to go Warriors!"
