January 13, 2014

General Announcements

This is Mr. Miles; I am proud to be one of the faculty sponsors for The Muse Magazine.  If you aren’t familiar with The Muse, it is Arapahoe’s magazine of the creative arts.   We collected lots of good writing and artwork last semester, but given the extraordinary way we ended fall semester, we would like to extend our deadline for writing and art submissions.  We will also be doing something we’ve never done before.  We are, for the first time ever, inviting faculty and staff at Arapahoe to send us your stories, reflections, or artwork, especially as it pertains to the last month here at Arapahoe. Warriors, we are already growing stronger as a community by sharing our stories and listening to one another.  The 2014 edition of The Muse, will be dedicated to Claire Davis.  Please see our guidelines for submitting on the Muse web page under Activities.  Our new deadline will be the last day of January--the 31st.    Thank you.

Attention Warriors – The 2nd Semester Schedule Adjustment Period has been extended through January 24th. Schedule adjustments can be made for academic misplacement ONLY. Again, the Schedule Adjustment Period will go through January 24th. If you are placed in an incorrect class, please see your counselor during your unscheduled hours.
