General Announcements

It’s not too late to order a yearbook. Don’t miss out on an amazing book showcasing the 50th anniversary of Arapahoe High School and a truly unifying year. To confirm you have ordered a yearbook check your fees on Infinite Campus or check the list outside of the bookkeeper’s office in the main office. The last date yearbook orders can be taken is today.  To order a yearbook, deliver a check for $67 to the bookkeeper in the main office. To pay with a credit card, contact the bookkeeper to add the fee to your account.

Warriors!  Are you looking for a fun way to help evolve the positive culture of Arapahoe?  Come to the first meeting of the semester for The Tribe on Monday after school in the Guidance Center.  We hope to see you there!

Remember, students that The Muse magazine has extended its deadline for writing and art submissions for Volume 12, but the new deadline is fast approaching. Remember to send us your stories and poems and artwork by the end of today. The Muse staff believes that sharing our stories will help us heal.  Faculty and staff are also in invited to send us your stories, reflections, or artwork, especially as it pertains to the last month here at Arapahoe. Faculty submissions can be emailed directly to Mr. Miles.  Students, please see our guidelines for submitting on The Muse web page under Activities.    

Lost and Found:  Please check the table in the cafeteria for clothing items and the Attendance Office for smaller items.  After today, all items will be donated.

Free Alive @ 25 class Monday, February 10th at 3:00pm in Room W101 for Arapahoe students. This is normally a $39 class. After taking this class you can get your driver's permit at age 15 1/2 and some insurance companies will give you a discount. Any questions ask Deputy Englert

Athletics

Our Unified Basketball team defeated South Suburban on Tuesday night at the South Suburban Buck Center. The team was lead by team captains, Michael VanHorn, Kyle Pontillo, and Blake Common.  Also supporting the team was the Unified Cheering Squad with team captain, Alana Bowman.  Final score was 106-100!  Next up is Chatfield High School at home at 7 pm in the Auxillary Gym next Monday, February, 3rd.   This will be a spectacular game so be sure to come out to support your Arapahoe High School Unified Basketball team!!

Come support your fellow Arapahoe Warriors and the entire Heritage/LPS hockey team as they take on division opponent, Air Academy High School.  Puck drops at 6:30 on Saturday night at the Ice Ranch.

Attention AHS Baseball Players:  If you are interested in trying out for the AHS Baseball team, please register as soon as possible.  Go to www.arapahoebaseball.com and go to register.  Click on 2013-2014 Spring Baseball Registration and go through the steps.  Thank you.
