Hey TSA, There will be a mandatory meeting after school next Tuesday, January 21 in Room E6. There are several competitive events that we will need to have "Run Offs" for before we can finalize our State TSA registration.  In order to sort through these, you must be there.  If you are not there, you won't be selected for the overloaded events.

Speech and Debate: Speech and debate general meeting Tuesday, January 21st in C15.  No picture on that day, but we need you in tournament attire on Thursday, January 23 after school for team pictures.  All Congress National Quals need to practice Tuesday and Thursday of next week.

Attention all FBLA Members.  If you are participating in a presentation event at the district competition, please stop by the business department during your lunch hour.  Students who are competing in a presentation event at the District Competition are invited to a competition prep night on Wednesday, January 22nd.  Please stop by the business department during lunch or after school today in order to sign up for this event.
Remember, students, that The Muse magazine has extended its deadline for writing and art submissions for Volume 12.  The Muse staff believes that sharing our stories will make us stronger and help us heal.  We would also like to remind faculty and staff that you, too, can send us your stories, reflections, or artwork, especially as it pertains to the last month here at Arapahoe.  Faculty submissions can be emailed directly to Mr. Miles.  Students, please see our guidelines for submitting on The Muse web page under Activities.  Our new deadline will be the last day of January--the 31st.    Thank you.

Hey Warriors!  The 2014 Arapahoe High School Winter Dance, A Night in Lights, is on Saturday, January 25th from 7-10 p.m. in the AHS Cafeteria.  It is semi-formal and is a Sadie Hawkins night where the girls invite the guys!  The cost is $10/person in advance and $15/person at the door.  Tickets go on sale in the cafeteria during both lunches beginning Tuesday, January 21st.  This dance is so much fun, you won't want to miss it!

If you have a library book that you need to return, please bring them to the Attendance Office and Mrs. B. will get them checked-in.  Thanks so much for your help.
