General Announcements

Attention Warriors – The 2nd Semester Schedule Adjustment Period has been extended through January 24th. Schedule adjustments can be made for academic misplacement ONLY. Again, the Schedule Adjustment Period will go through January 24th. If you are placed in an incorrect class, please see your counselor during your unscheduled hours.  

The C22 lab is open for students who need to use a computer. 

If you have a library book that you need to return, please bring them to the Attendance Office and Mrs. B. will get them checked-in.  Thanks so much for your help.

Students having student assist hours for Mr. Bast in the Guidance Center, please stop the Post Grad Center today to schedule your student assist hours with Mrs. Lewallen today.

FBLA testing is today through Thursday. Come to room S2 and S3 to take your test.

The TSA Club will meet both today and Thursday as we prepare to move forward towards the TSA State Conference in February. In addition, please check your email for a follow up message regarding the conference registration.  Please see Mr. McMullen for any questions and/or concerns.

Members of National Honor Society, our first meeting of the semester will be held tomorrow after school in the Forum at 2:25. Please join us for some important information about things happening in our club.  Also, if you were a member last semester and still need to turn in your 1st Semester Service Log, you can turn it in at our meeting or at Mr. Smith's desk in the science office.

AHS Theatre Company presents Alice in Wonderland on January 17th at 7:00 pm and January 18th at 2:00 pm. Admission is free! This is a children's theatre performance so young children are encouraged to attend. We hope to see you there!

Hey Warriors!  Arapahoe's Winter Dance, A Night in Lights, will be held on Saturday night, January 25th.  Tickets will go on sale soon.  Ladies, if your date is not an Arapahoe student, you may pick up your guest form at the Attendance Office window.

Hey Warriors, last Sunday the Broncos beat the Chargers sending them to the AFC Championship game vs. the Patriots. This Friday will be Bronco Spirit Day at AHS. Wear your best Bronco gear on Friday. There will be games in the cafeteria during both lunches. Go Broncos!

Café specials today:  Panda Express bowls, Chick-Fil-A sandwich.  Lunch today:  chicken quesadilla, orange chicken, salads, variety of cold sandwiches.

Athletics

Lady Warriors continue to win big!  Varsity girls defeated Arvada West last night 62-24 with dominating defense and the inside game of Mikaela Moore.  Sophomore girls defeated Arvada West in overtime 42-39 behind the scoring of Elianna Kearby's 21 points.  Next up at home is Eaglecrest on Wednesday night with Freshman starting at 4:00, Sophomore and JV at 5:30 and Varsity at 7:00.  Come out and support your Lady Warriors!
Hey Warriors! Come out and support the Arapahoe Unified basketball team and cheer team at tonight's game at 7:00 pm in the Sitting Eagle gym! Show your Warrior spirit and cheer on the team tonight! See you there! Go Warriors!

Attention girls soccer players. There will be a short meeting after school today at 2:30 in N5.

Attention all boys and girls swimmers and divers, please come to room E9 today after school in order to attend an important meeting.

All girls interested in participating in tennis for the Spring 2014 season - there will be an information meeting on Thursday, January 16th at 6:30 p.m. in Classrooms W201 and W202.  Hope to see you there!
