General Announcements

Well, it’s finally here Warriors. The Broncos are going to the Super Bowl. Last time the Broncos were in the Super Bowl, most of our Freshmen class hadn't even been born yet. To celebrate, we will be having a Bronco's orange day on Friday. Plan to wear your brightest orange. We will also have contests and prizes during both lunches. Stay tuned for more details.

Congratulations to all students who received an acceptance letter into the National Business Honor Society!  As a reminder, there will be an introductory meeting today after school in Room E9.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Sawyer in the Business Department.

Attention all FBLA Students.  There will be a mandatory meeting after school in Room E9 on Wednesday to prepare for the District Competition.  If you are unable to attend the meeting, please stop by and see Mrs. Swank or Mr. Sawyer in the Business Department.

It has been said that by making a thousand paper cranes the Gods grant you one wish. Help the freshman class make a thousand origami cranes, each with a special note of encouragement to the students of Berrendo Middle School, in order to give them the ultimate wish - a wish of healing.  Join the freshmen class at various lunch tables during 1st and 2nd lunches Monday through Friday this week, in writing messages and folding origami cranes.

Remember, students that The Muse magazine has extended its deadline for writing and art submissions for Volume 12, but the new deadline is fast approaching. Remember to send us your stories and poems and artwork by the end of this week. The Muse staff believes that sharing our stories will help us heal.  Faculty and staff are also in invited to send us your stories, reflections, or artwork, especially as it pertains to the last month here at Arapahoe. Faculty submissions can be emailed directly to Mr. Miles.  Students, please see our guidelines for submitting on The Museweb page under Activities.  Our new deadline will be this Friday, the last day of January--the 31st.  Thank you.

Free Alive @ 25 class Monday February 10th at 3:00 pm in room W101 for Arapahoe students. This is normally a $39 class. After taking this class you can get your driver's permit at age 15 1/2 and some insurance companies will give you a discount. Any questions, ask Deputy Englert.
