General Announcements

*Attention: Sophomores and Juniors -There will be a meeting in the forum today during both lunches for anyone interested in taking a Concurrent Enrollment course AT Arapahoe Community College fall semester. The required paperwork with be given out to any students interested. Students planning on taking a Concurrent Enrollment class at Arapahoe High School next year do NOT have to attend this meeting. Please feel free to bring your lunch.

*Have a HEART! Pay your Library Fines during the month of February and your fines will go towards the Warrior Week Fundraiser for Tony. Remember… All fines must be paid in the Library. Our goal is to collect at the very least $1,000 from the 606 students owing over $2,500 in fines. As of today we have collected $100.75.   Only $2,399.25 to go!

*College Night will begin promptly tonight at 7:00 PM.  The east bubble doors and the north Forum doors will open at 6:30 PM.   The RSVP count is at 1,200 so arrive early for parking and to find your starting session.  It's not too late to RSVP, it's just important that you do.  Once sessions reach room capacity, they will be removed from the RSVP form.  Look forward to seeing you tonight!

*Congratulations to our Band Of Sisters and their performance at the 2019 Girls State Wrestling Competition. The Warriors finished 5th place as a team and had three state placer winners! Finishing in 3rd place were JJ Plummer and Rosalind Ramos Cruz! Our 4th place  finisher was Kira Gilliland! We'd also like to give a shout out to the many fans who supported our wrestlers on Saturday! It's A Great Day To Be A Warrior!

*This weekend your Lady Water Warriors attended the CHSAA State meet in Thornton.  We took 5th in State! Huge kudos go to our Dive Squad! Senior Captain Franny Cable took 1st place for the 2nd straight season setting the pool and team records.  She was also named Diver of the year! Teammate Senior Captain Kirry Belitz took 2nd in diving! Junior Anna Wetzel set a junior national time in the 100 breaststroke while placing 4th overall! The 200 free relay qualified for All American!  Congratulations ladies!

*Tonight our Boys Basketball Warriors take on Smoky Hill at Smoky. 5:30 for our JV guys and 7 pm for our Varsity guys.  Come support your boys!

*There will be an informational meeting this Tuesday for all interested track athletes in W-1529 at 3:40.
*This week Wednesday from 6:00-9:00 pm there will be a meeting for all boys interested in AHS swim and dive AND THEIR PARENTS in the AHS Forum.  Coach Richmond will outline plans for the season and the Swim & Dive Board will layout the registration process and expectations.
