*Attention ALL State TSA participants, Only 18 days until State!! We will have a MANDATORY TSA meeting tomorrow, Tues, Feb 5th after school in the Tech Studies lab! Be prepared to show your progress on your events!!! See you all then!
*Have a HEART! Pay your Library Fines during the month of February and your fines will go towards the Warrior Week Fundraiser for Tony. Remember… All fines must be paid in the Library.
*February is Positive Friends Month sponsored by Sources of Strength. The goal of this month is to recognize the positive friends in your life. Come by on Thursday, 2/7, during both lunches to take Positive Polaroids with your friends. There will be a chance to win a Chipotle gift card and we will be collecting donations for Warrior Wish Week. Look forward to the fun activities with your Positive Friends during February!
Athletics
*Congratulations to the Lady Water Warriors on their second place finish at the Centennial A League Championships! A big shout out to senior diving captain Franny Cable who set the team, pool and league record with her winning performance. Anna Wetzel broke the 100 Breast League Record and our 200 Freestyle Relay Team broke both the Arapahoe Pool and Centennial League Records. Way to go Warriors! This weekend our State Team travels to Thornton for State Prelims and Finals. Times and location can be found on our website. www.ahsswimdive.com.
*Congratulations to our Girls Wrestling Team! They finished 2nd place in regionals and qualified four individuals for the state tournament. Our 2019 State Qualifiers are Kira Gilliland, Sealah Pescevic, JJ Plummer, and Rosalind Ramos Cruz. Good luck!
*Next week Wednesday, February 13, 6:00-9:00 pm there will be a meeting for all boys interested in AHS swim and dive AND THEIR PARENTS in the AHS Forum. Coach Richmond will outline plans for the season and the Swim/Dive Board will layout the registration process and expectations.
