*Attention ALL State TSA participants, Only 18 days until State!! We will have a MANDATORY TSA meeting TODAY after school in the Tech Studies lab! Be prepared to show your progress on your events!!! See you all then!
*Have a HEART! Pay your Library Fines during the month of February and your fines will go towards the Warrior Week Fundraiser for Tony. Remember… All fines must be paid in the Library.
*February is Positive Friends Month sponsored by Sources of Strength. The goal of this month is to recognize the positive friends in your life. Come by on Thursday, 2/7, during both lunches to take Positive Polaroids with your friends. There will be a chance to win a Chipotle gift card and will be collecting donations for Warrior Wish Week. Look forward to the fun activities with your Positive Friends during February.
Athletics
*Boys lacrosse players - Tonight, February 5th at 7 p.m. in the Forum there will be a mandatory Pre-Tryout Meeting for both Players and Parents for interested participants in Spring Boys Lacrosse.
*Your LPS Hockey team had a great week of hockey last week with 3 wins! They defeated Chatfield 5-1, Columbine 4-2 and Kent Denver 3-2. Come out to cheer the team on this weekend. On Friday night they face Mountain Vista at 7:45 at South Suburban Ice Rink. On Saturday night, the team will celebrate senior night before their 6:30 game against Mullen at South Suburban.
*Happy College Signing Day Warriors! Today Senior Dive Captain Franny Cable signed her commitment to Kansas Jayhawks and Senior Swim Captain Emily Abernathy signed with Colorado Mesa Mavericks! Congratulations girls!
*Our Girls Swim and Dive team moved up in CHSAA rankings to 4th in State! This weekend our state qualifiers travel to Thornton for the State competition. Swim Prelims are Friday at 4:00 pm, Dive Prelims are Saturday at 9:30 am. Finals for both are Saturday at 3:00 pm. All events to be held at Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center. Come cheer on our Lady Water Warriors!
*Boys and Girls cross country runners please attend a brief meeting on Thursday, February 7 in W-1887 at 8 am OR 3:35 pm. Important summer and season updates will be discussed.
*Next week Wednesday, February 13, 6:00-9:00 pm there will be a meeting for all boys interested in AHS swim and dive AND THEIR PARENTS in the AHS Forum. Coach Richmond will outline plans for the season and the Swim/Dive Board will layout the registration process and expectations.
