*This is the last week to vote in the Library’s March Madness Tournament of BOOKS! Take the survey found in your LPS email. The contest ends this Thursday. You have a chance to win a $25 Tattered Cover Gift Card.
*Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have The 39 Steps, a fast paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre. Come see the Company Class perform this chaotic comedy at 7pm this Friday and Saturday in the theatre. Admission is free.
*Juniors and Seniors! Are you excited for prom 2019? It's time to nominate outstanding students for this year's Prom Royalty Court. The students you nominate should be individuals who are leaders among their peers and those who demonstrate qualities of the Warrior spirit. Emails will be sent to your LPS email on Wednesday!
*This week, the Post Grad Center will host Metro State University, Colorado Mesa University, and Johnson & Wales University. There will also be an ROTC Scholarship presentation open to juniors, sophomores, and freshmen interesting in learning about this opportunity to pay for college and enter the military as a commissioned officer. Please sign up in Naviance.
*The Personal Finance scholarship applications are due at 3:00 today. Please turn in to Mrs. Hall in Post Grad. There are other scholarships opportunities for students with involvement in community service, athletics, military legacy, and one for those majoring in engineering or chemistry going to Mines or DU. Check them out in Naviance! Also, seniors, be sure to turn in scholarship award letters this week.
*Did you know that a pint of blood can save up to 3 lives? Sources of Strength will be hosting a blood drive and health fair on April 16th. Sign up will be during lunches April 8th - April 15th for your scheduled appointment to donate blood. Anyone ages 16 or older can donate (16 and 17 need parent permission). Please consider donating and saving a life.
Athletics
*Warriors, Cheerleading Tryouts for the 2019-2020 season are here! Interviews will be held after school today, and clinics in the upper gym will begin tomorrow at 6:00 PM. Please remember to bring all of the necessary paperwork, the tryout fee, and a valid physical to Tuesday's clinic. Can't wait to get started! Go Warriors!

*Several members of our Boy’s Swim and Dive have qualified for State in the early weeks of the season. In the first meet, Junior swimmers Daniel Bensen and Jack Giesen, Sophomore swimmer Fletcher Hayes and Junior diver Danny Beaty qualified for State. And in the Coaches Invitational Meet on March 23rd, Senior swimmers Ben Brewer, Nick Stephenson and Davis Wuthrich qualified, along with Juniors Jack Berdahl and Luke Wiesner. Arapahoe finished Fifth in a very strong field at the Coaches Invitational Meet.
*Your Boys Lacrosse Warriors returned from a Spring Break trip to Southern California with a split of their two games against a couple of perennial California powerhouses and now the Centennial conference work begins with a game tonight at 6:00 PM at LPS vs Eaglecrest.
*The Sophomore Baseball Team won their home game on March 23rd 12-4 against Denver East. Come out and watch them play this Thursday, April 4th at home against Grandview. The concession stand has lots of tasty treats, hot dogs and hamburgers.
*The Lady Warriors Varsity Soccer Team is on a roll with a 6-0 record! They need your support tomorrow, Tuesday, as they face Grandview at 4pm at LPSS. Let's fill the stands and make some noise as they face this cross town rival! Best of luck to them! Go ABK!!!
