Please stand and join us in the Pledge of Allegiance

General Announcements

*Happy Monday, here is your mindful moment for the week: Instead of creating a "to do" list; create an "I did it" list at the end of each day this week. This will help remind yourself of all the wonderful things you accomplished and be more mindful of your day.

*Come enjoy a walk through the wardrobe to the magical evening of Prom in a fantasy world May 4th at the CU Wildlife Experience. Prom Tickets are now available to purchase online April 17-April 29 for $45. They will be $50 at the door. Check your LPS email for the link to purchase online tickets and there is also a link to the guest form for you to fill out and bring to the attendance office. Only Juniors and Seniors may purchase tickets.

*The G/T social is this Wednesday, April 24. We would like to extend an invitation to you to join your G/T support team-- Ms. Boatright, Mr. Lewis, and Mrs. Cornils-- in the Study Center on Wednesday from 3:30-4:15 to socialize and hear about some end of the year tasks in terms of your ALP. Even better, there will be pie and other snacks! We really hope you can come. See you then!

*The MUSE is here! Purchase advance copies from Mr. Neenan in the language arts office for a discounted $5 and don't forget to come to the MUSE Showcase on Tuesday, April 23rd from 6-7pm in the forum! Meet the genius artists, writers, and poets who will be showcasing their work. Snacks will be provided!

Athletics

*Congratulations to your varsity baseball warriors for their back to back wins this weekend. They beat Overland Friday and had a huge win over Mullen on Saturday.  The boys have now won four in a row! Keep that momentum going, Warriors!

*Congratulations to the Sophomore baseball team for winning their last three games at home! Come out on Tuesday and cheer them on at home in a game against Mullen.

*Congrats to the girls tennis team for their 1st place finish at the Pueblo South Invitational. At their respective positions, the team had five 1st place finishers, one 2nd place finisher, and one 3rd place finisher. The tennis team finishes their regular season this week with matches against Ralston Valley, Cherry Creek, Eaglecrest and Chatfield.

*The Boys Swim and Dive Team is holding a Wahoo's fundraiser tonight at the Wahoo's Park Meadows--that's just north of Dry Creek, off Chester, near Guitar Center.  Please come and have a delicious dinner between 4:00 PM and close, and the Boys Swim/Dive team will take home a healthy donation! Thanks in advance for your support!

*LPS/Heritage High School Gymnastics Fall 2019 Team Try-Outs will be held on Friday, April 26th from 4:30-7:30 PM at Active Athletics for any gymnast interested in trying out for the Fall 2019 LPS/Heritage Girls Gymnastics Team!  Please see Head Coach, Andrea Miesen, when you arrive.

Go Warriors!
