*Congratulations to the FBLA State team for their great performance competing at the Gaylord Resort last week. At the competition, five groups won first place giving Arapahoe High School FBLA more first place winners than any other school in the State of Colorado! A big congratulations to Kaitlynn Pfannschmidt for becoming an FBLA State Officer and congratulations to Mrs. Pramenko for winning the FBLA Administrator of the Year Award!
*Tomorrow May 1st you will have the opportunity to vote for your next years student council executive officers. You will receive an email tomorrow morning and voting will take place during your tribe time. Thanks for your participation.
*Hey Warriors! Our annual Hot Dog Day, sponsored by Cherry Hills Community Church is this coming Thursday, May 2nd! The food is free and so is the fun. Come to the south patio to enjoy free hot dogs, chips and drinks for all students and staff. Save your money, grab your friends, and enjoy lunch right here on Campus! See you then!

*Who will win? Who is truly the best of the best? Who will be your 2019 Mr. Arapahoe? Find out Tuesday night at 7:00 PM in the AHS theater, where ten senior boys will compete for the crown. Tickets are $5 at lunch and at the door.
*Attention Juniors and Seniors: If you have invited a freshman or sophomore as your guest to prom this weekend, you must submit a guest form for the freshman or sophomore even if they are a Warrior. Prom is for AHS Juniors and Seniors and all others are considered guests. These forms must be turned in BEFORE 9:30 AM on Wednesday.
*Come ONE, Come ALL!! - It is time to purchase your 2019 Tickets to "The Greatest Show" After Prom. Tickets will be sold in the cafeteria during both lunches this week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We will be accepting credit and debit card purchases this year in addition to cash or checks (made payable to AHS PTO). Cost is $25.00 per person in advance and $30.00 per person at the door. Only Juniors and Seniors may purchase tickets and you may purchase only two total tickets. Also juniors and seniors may purchase an after prom ticket even if you are not going to Prom! Same rules apply for After Prom as for Prom regarding guests from other schools. Your guest form must be approved before you receive your tickets. After Prom will be located right here at Arapahoe High School from 12:00 AM to 4:00 AM following Prom. It is very important that you remember that in order to enter After Prom you MUST have your tickets and photo ID with you.
*After Prom Tickets go on sale tomorrow. Don’t miss some of the incredible prizes we have this year. You select what prize you want with your ticket. Drawings done at 3:30AM on Saturday night and you must be present to win. A sampling of prizes includes: A year of Chic-Fil-A, $500 Southwest Airline ticket to destination of your choice, 4 Tickets to Outlaws opener and $150 cash for food and more!
*Hey Warriors! Are you enthusiastic and interested in using your voice and talents to broadcast the daily announcements to our fellow Warriors next school year? Come to the front office to sign up by May 1! Tryouts will be held after school the week of May 6-10.
*Free Alive @ 25 class Tuesday May 7th at 3:45 PM - 8:15 PM in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee. If you are 15 1/2 you can get your driver’s permit after taking the class and many insurance companies give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up online at www.aliveat25.us.To register for the class the password is "arapahoe". Any questions, ask Deputy Englert.
*Juniors! Come to the Forum tomorrow, PLC Wednesday at 8:30am, for a junior preview session to learn about what you can do NOW and over the summer to lessen the college application workload in the fall.
*Students! The Army recruiter will be here on Tuesday, May 7th to meet with students interested in learning about serving in the Army. Please RSVP in Naviance or see Mrs. Hall by Friday to reserve a spot at this meeting. Lunch will be provided.
Athletics
*Girls JV Lacrosse competes against Cherry Creek today at 4:30 PM at Newton.
*Boys Swim and Dive has their final dual meet of the season tonight at 5:00 PM. It is Senior night so please come out and honor our senior athletes.
