General Announcements

*Please stop by the Lost and Found table in the cafeteria to claim your missing items. All jackets not claimed by Wednesday afternoon will be donated for the Wind River trip. All other remaining items after Friday will be donated so check the table TODAY.

*It’s State Week for our own Arapahoe Color Guard! The team will perform their 2019 show, entitled “Still I Rise” at DU Ritchie Center on Saturday at the Rocky Mountain Color Guard Association’s State Competition! Get it ACG!

*Did you know that a pint of blood can save up to 3 lives? Sources of Strength will be hosting a blood drive and health fair on April 16th.  Sign up will be during lunches April 8th - April 15th for your scheduled appointment to donate blood. Anyone ages 16 or older can donate (16 and 17 need parent permission). Please consider donating and saving a life.

*Deputy Englert and Deputy Tipton want to remind everyone that April is distracted driving awareness month. Last year of 15,000 crashes were linked to distracted driving in Colorado. Put the phones down and get rid of those distractions in the car. Please drive safe.

*Hey Key Clubbers, the year is winding down but there are many more rewarding events coming up to help you finish the year off strong! THIS Saturday, April 13th we have our Easter Egg Hunt here at Arapahoe from 12:15 to 3! Come help hide eggs and direct kids in a variety of activities; all guests are welcome so please bring siblings, neighbors, or kids who would enjoy some egg hunting! In the upcoming weeks, we also have Sweet Dreams, Soles4Souls, and packing bags for USBTA. Check out the Key Club website for sign-ups and more information!  

*Congratulations to the State Champion Warrior Percussion Ensemble!!!  The ensemble competed on Saturday, April 6th at Clune Arena in Colorado Springs.  After preliminary competition they were in First Place with a score 90.450. They went on to compete in finals and brought home a gold medal and the title of RMPA State Champions in Scholastic Concert Open Class with a final score of 91.375.  Please wish the ensemble members Good Luck and Good Skill as they travel to Dayton, Ohio to compete in World Championships this week. Congratulations again to the State Champion Warrior Percussion Ensemble!!!

Athletics

*Littleton Public Schools has officially cancelled all after school activities for Wednesday 4/10/19 due to the incoming inclement weather. Our AHS building will close today at 3:31 p.m.  There will be no practices or competitions today.

*JV girls soccer defeated Overland yesterday 10-0. Please come cheer them on Thursday at Mullen at 4:30.
