*Congratulations to ~ Jessica Lomax (clarinet), Michael Purfield (trombone), Heidi Hucke (trumpet), Taylor Karsten (clarinet), and Gavin Turner (bassoon) ~ for being selected to the 2024 All Colorado Honor Band. This amazing event was hosted this past weekend at Western Colorado University in Gunnison and their performances were absolutely amazing! Awesome job representing Arapahoe and LPS!
*Congratulations to Arapahoe climber Karson Hilgert for her 1st place finish and being crowned the Denver Southeast Regional Champion this past Sunday. Both Karson and Weston Andrews have qualified for the State competition and will be representing Arapahoe this Saturday at Gripstone Climbing Gym in Colorado Springs.
*Hey Warriors - come support your Unified Warrior Basketball team on Wednesday, February 21 at the Tri-School Unified game at Heritage High School at 6:30pm. Let's pack the house & show how Warriors always take care of one another!
*Graduating Seniors who live in Highlands Ranch: have you spent a lot of time serving your community? Apply for the Highlands Ranch Community Scholarship for a chance to receive $2500 for college! Applications due March 1st. For more details, search for “Highlands Ranch Community Scholarships” on-line or stop by the Post-Secondary Center.
*Students! A recruiter from the United States Army will be in the cafeteria during both lunches today. Stop by if you have any interest in learning more!
*Do you like golf but you're not part of the team? Well Arapahoe has a new Golf Club starting March 4th! Come out and work on your skills and play some golf with us. You can sign-up by going to the Arapahoe Golf Website or with the QR code that is posted around the school. See Ms. Hamilton or Mr. Riordan with any questions.
*Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge! It’s time to get your dodgeball team together for the Wish Week Dodgeball Tournament on Tuesday, March 19th. Teams will consist of 10 kids, at least three have to be female. We are limiting sign ups to the first 16 teams, so first come, first served. Team captains, come down to the Activities office to pick up your packets.
*Warriors there will be a FREE ‘Alive @ 25’ class Monday, March 11th at 3:45pm - 8:15pm in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class, the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee. If you are 15 ½, you can get drivers permit after taking the class and a lot of insurance companies give you a discount after taking the class. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line at www.alive@25.us. To register for the class the password is "arapahoe". Any questions ask Deputy Englert.
*Warriors - the Be Happy Boutique is coming back to Streets of SouthGlenn! This is an opportunity to get formal wear (dresses & suits) for all of your formal events — from prom to homecoming and everything in between at a price you can afford. Mark your calendar to visit their ONCE A YEAR shop on the first two weekends of March! Be sure to plan ahead! They are located at Streets of Southglenn - across the street from H&M. They follow a pay what you can model. So whether someone can offer $0, $20, or more, all are welcome.

*Congratulations to our Warrior Wrestlers who competed at the 2024 CHSAA State Wrestling Championships this past weekend. Maddie McKee placed 5th Marek Mangers placed 6th.
*A shout out to Coach Kyle Low who received his 20 Year Coaching Pin from CHSAA this weekend. Way to GO LOW!
