*If you're a graduating senior who hasn't applied to college, trade school, or anywhere else yet... join us in the Postsecondary Center this Friday, February 23rd all day long for some one-on-one help with any & all applications! AHS Counselors will be available, there will be an ACC admissions counselor here from 8:30-10:30am and we have fee waivers! You could have your postgrad plan wrapped up by the weekend! See your counselor or Ms. Conn for more details, and please RSVP to the email you received last Friday.
*Hey Warriors - come support your Unified Warrior Basketball team TONIGHT at the Tri-School Unified game at Heritage High School at 6:30pm. Let's pack the house & show how Warriors always take care of one another!
*Congratulations to our Arapahoe Boys on the Okanagan Hockey team for winning the state championship against the Rough Riders in overtime last night!
*Good Luck to all the TSA competitors heading to the TSA State Competition starting tomorrow. Go Warriors!
*Do you like golf but you're not part of the team? Well Arapahoe has a new Golf Club starting March 4th! Come out and work on your skills and play some golf with us. You can sign-up by going to the Arapahoe Golf Website or with the QR code that is posted around the school. See Ms. Hamilton or Mr. Riordan with any questions.
*Warriors there will be a FREE ‘Alive @ 25’ class Monday, March 11th at 3:45pm - 8:15pm in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class, the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee. If you are 15 ½, you can get drivers permit after taking the class and a lot of insurance companies give you a discount after taking the class. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line at www.alive@25.us. To register for the class the password is "arapahoe". Any questions ask Deputy Englert.
*Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge! It’s time to get your dodgeball team together for the Wish Week Dodgeball Tournament on Tuesday, March 19th. Teams will consist of 10 kids, at least three have to be female. We are limiting sign ups to the first 16 teams, so first come, first served. Team captains, come down to the Activities office to pick up your packets.
*Warriors - the Be Happy Boutique is coming back to Streets of SouthGlenn! This is an opportunity to get formal wear (dresses & suits) for all of your formal events — from prom to homecoming and everything in between at a price you can afford. Mark your calendar to visit their ONCE A YEAR shop on the first two weekends of March! Be sure to plan ahead! They are located at Streets of Southglenn - across the street from H&M. They follow a pay what you can model. So whether someone can offer $0, $20, or more, all are welcome.
Athletics
*Good luck to your AHS Boys' Varsity Basketball team TONIGHT as they begin the first round of the 6A State Basketball tournament. They take on Ralston Valley at 7:00pm at Ralston Valley. Come on out and support your Warriors!
*Congratulation to our Girls Varsity Basketball team on their win over Columbine last night.
