*Congratulations to the Arapahoe Chorale on their extraordinary performance at the Broadmoor Hotel this past weekend for the CMEA conference. Selection for this opportunity reflects that the Chorale is among the top choirs in the state of Colorado--something their recent performance confirmed to be true.
*Hey Warriors, come pack the house TOMORROW, Friday, February 2nd at 4:00pm as the Unified team plays at HOME against Rock Canyon.
*Good luck to the LPS and Arapahoe Winter Guard team as they kick off their competition season this coming weekend at Florence High School in Colorado Springs. Our team competes at 6:25pm against many regional teams. Go Guard!
*Warriors - do you want to travel to Japan or Rwanda with other Warriors! You might ride the bullet train to Tokyo where you can enjoy authentic Japanese Ramen or spot giraffes, lions and elephants right outside your jeep on a wildlife safari in Rwanda. An informational travel meeting will be held by Ms. Wood on Tuesday, February 6th at 6:00pm in room E1287. Please enter through the main east entrance. You must bring a parent and RSVP for the meeting. Find the link to RSVP for the meeting and all the other details on the AHS webpage. Don’t miss out on these once in a lifetime trips.
Athletics
*Come cheer on your Boys Basketball teams TOMORROW as they take on Mullen @ HOME. Help us celebrate our fabulous seniors before the Varsity game at 7:00pm following the JV game @ 5:30. The Sophomore team will play at 4:00pm followed by the Freshman team at 5:30pm.
*Good luck to our Girls Swim and Dive team at A-League Championships at our AHS Pool this Friday starting at 5:30pm and Saturday starting at 9:00am.
*Senior Student athletes, Araphaoe's 2024 Signing Day ceremony is on Wednesday, February 7th in the morning. If you have officially committed to a team for next year, please stop by Mrs. Cronin's desk in the Student Services office to pick up the necessary paperwork to be included in the ceremony. This needs to be filled out and returned by TOMORROW, Friday, Feb 2nd.
*Anyone interested in playing Girls Golf this Spring needs to attend the Parent/Player Meeting on Monday, February 5th at 6:00pm in the Forum. We will discuss important details about the upcoming season and how tryouts will work. Please tell your parents or guardian to attend. See Mr. Riordan in the World Language office if you have any questions.
*Any AHS boys interested in playing on the LPS Boys Volleyball team this spring, we have open gym time scheduled for Thursday, February 8th and 15th @ Littleton HS (north gym) from 8:00pm-10:00pm. Tryouts are February 19th-21st.
